Are there any production number on these radios?
I was more curious than anything. i almost never see these in 3000gt interiors, didnt know if they were more uncommon than i thought

yes, I'm aware it's not optimal, it i have ran my fingernail and apex seal directionally and it doesn't catch. I am looking to see is there is a method to smooth out if there is one. this isn't for a long-term build; this is a project that I'm just trying to get running first then i will be looking into more longterm building after it is back on the road.
Hey guys, so i have a 81 rx7 project im working one where the rear rotor went out. i made the mistake of buying 85 rotors so i was planning on just finding a flywheel and counterweight from the later years so i can just covert the rotors to work with my 81 12a. issue is i cant find any flywheels for those 84-85 years. i was considering finding rotors for the earlier year ones but those are also very difficult to find.
seems finding those parts of the wrong year is easy so thats my luck. where else (besides ebay and rx7 club) are your guys finding parts for these cars? im ready to rebuild but this is what im stuck on.
thanks!
I love my cheap old 89 chevy, its my daily. Been a great truck, the only thing I hate is how it doesn't like staying around 80mph on the interstate. Does anyone have any advise on how to stay steadily at 80mph or and I just gonna have to deal with 70mph without rpm screaming?
Thanks guys
edit: it does good enough on flat roads, its mainly an issue on hills and inclines. i live in the Rockies so thats all we have here
This is a project car, I have the engine completely taken apart, im looking for any advise for the safest way to remove these seals.
Thanks
Bought as a project car, I knew the guy drive it pretty light and thought is was carbon buildup by his story, was not the case. Any advice for getting these out?
So I got this project 81 rx7 fb and want to see what condition this motor is in. Now this engine is siezed by God himself and I cant get this engine apart. The back of the engine is just not coming off no matter what, the front is loose but because its siezed I can't take it off. I've been fighting with this engine, every video of a sieze motor just unsiezes it like I didnt think of it. Im thinking is primarily carbon locked but I think an apex seal could be messed up but I cant take it apart for the life of me
Been looking for a project to have fun with, this car hasn't ran since 98 but body is very good shape and its a GSL, looks way better in person that photos. The guy got it from the original owner last year but has too many projects which is why hes thinking of selling it. He's firm on $2500. I just got back from looking at it and here's what I found
Absolutely zero rest
Great paint (except the panel in front of hood and bumpers)
Motor is clogged/locked and already out
Hasn't ran since 98 due to locked motor
interior looks perfect
Underbody looks nice
