You can double jump once after falling for 2 meters horizontally. Double jumping completely removes the momentum you had previously, gives you enough momentum to go up 0.3 meters and gives you i-frames for 0.3 seconds.
You can jump down any height and reset your momentum every 2 meters.
You need to move both of your legs like you are jumping while your body is in a horizontal position to be able to double jump.
If you start spinning while you are falling and you try to double jump while sideways, nothing happens and your double jump gets set to a cooldown for 3 seconds, so don't spam it.
When you have i-frames, anything that was supposed to hit you goes through you but you can't go through walls or anything like that.
For example, if you are jumping down a cliff for whatever reason and you see a bird is about to hit you if you time your double jump that bird will just go through you and you can keep falling down safely
If there was something inside your body while you had i-frames and its still inside you after your i-frames end, you get a collision bug and immediately get so much momentum that's enough to send you 150m into the air. (You can stack this if you are somehow able to it)
Finished the game (Siegrid is my goat)
Really like the music and how much the game doesn't hate me.
I mean you don't lose anything upon death, you can bench warp without quitting to the menu, if you accedantly use heal with full health it doesnt waste your prayer charge, i love these additions.
I also love that you can refight main bosses and rewatch cutscenes and how the story isn't some vague, encrypted lore you gotta watch ten lore videos to figure out.
btw, the music in the abyss? fucking scared me the first time. Why does a song have gasps and other random noises in it. Don't get me wrong tho i liked that its actually unsettling
well, on to Magnolia!
better then elden ring
Its insane how much height you can get with Silva's charged attack
i know im posting a bit too many of these, mods don't shoot me pls
I found another one of these. I love doing all these air attacks and barely making a jump
Another cool skip i found
this one was a bit more tricky took me like 20 tries
Cool trick i found (first time playing)
me when using an ability pushes you away from the the direction you are attacking in a metroidvania 👀
So my friend started playing a while ago
My friend started hollow knight and he was talking about not needing too use the map. I was like, bro you can't just remember everything you see, so i told him to open the map while he was playing and what do i see?
The whole map is in sketches. Turns out he didn't buy the quill.
This mf beat Mantis Lords, Hornet 1, Nosk, Soul Master and has the crystal dash and also has killed Herrah but didn't buy the first item the first npc sells EVEN tho i specifically told him to talk to npcs and buy things that you might find useful.
He only bought the wayward compass from Iselda and nothing else and thats only because i told him to buy that item specifically.
Last boss (no Talisman, no Azure Bow)

First time playing the game
Someone told me "good luck with the last boss without using talisman" so i did that
Jades used: Harness force, Qi blade, Focus, Swift descent, Last stand
I was trying to find the secret treasure that poem from the painting was talking about, turns out i found it already.
i found this room before even getting the double jump using my nymph.
Playing Silksong and spamming silk soar towards every ceiling drove me insane enough to tell if something was above there.
