Uh, whaaa???

Stella made a new friend today! I told them lights out but, they are not stopping!

First of all, are we too cute or what?!

I love that I can interact with my little birby and know that there is a real person behind it!!

When i first started I (thought) I was "assigned" a friend, maybe I posted my code, i don't remember. But they were my tree friend and would send me vibes and gifts some times. I thought it was just an algorithm. I was a while before I realized that it was a real person!

I want to talk about subs, apparently a forbidden topic in the "main" sub!?! Which is why I cam here, permanently. But now I see several other similar finch subs and i am on them now too. The problem is that I like three of them, including this one and they all seem good and I have met nice people on all of them.

So, I kinda wanna pick just one as my "home base" and while i like to comment and such on the other two subs, if I want to post something, I am not going to crosspost. I just want one primary sub to post in. But I want to interact with new people I have met on who may be in on or more of these subs.

Does any of this make sense? How do you choose your home base sub? I do have a custom feed set up to only see these three subs.

Regardless, I wanted to say that I love that the birbs that are in my trees are representing a real person. We all like finch, (and get frustrated with it sometimes), and we all like to share our goings on in our little corners of the trees, so I am just grateful to have these communities to enhance my finch app experience.

Oh, and I am posting this here because it has become my primary home after I left the main one and then I discovered Rave Cave!! But I do see a flurry of activity in one of the others subs.

Last night we went to bed wishing for a yellow 💛 plushie to go with our lovely lemon pajamas and slippers, and this morning woke up to this!!

Lately I notice that people when gifting, are really trying to send just the right things to go with our outfit or treehouse.

It's so nice and thoughtful and makes us feel even more thought of and special. Like we're worth somones extra few minutes, probably scrolling around in a laggy app, to send the most perfect item they have. I know when we do it it makes us feel happy too, gifting that perfect item!!

Especially cheerie since my irl air conditioning is broken and it's 90F.

Stella is on her way to see Barry Manilow tonight in Cincinnati. He's about to take the stage! And we got a great seat. I'm alone, but I got my StellaBlu💙!!

UPDATE! June was a difficult month for many of us with the app issues, and I was quite upset that my sponsored month was so disrupted. I have heard others mention that they don't receive replies from support, but I wanted to share that I got a support ticket and every email I sent was always responded to and assured that I would be taken care of. It took a long time, the entire month, by I really appreciate everything they have done to take care of me and I now have been gifted a Finch Plus subscription.

Everything is working perfectly now, except my tree. It crashes constantly as I have way too many Birbs and trees. I got so many by doing giveaways and trades, and oddly enough, no one ever leaves! I'd say that about 90% of them are Plus, based on their Vibes. I have only had a few go inactive in the past year. I have recently learned that the friends data has to load every time, so I am actively working on paring down the trees! I removed a few today that were inactive for a long time.

I also want to acknowledge and thank all my Birb friends for being so patient and the subs for being so supportive! I know I am not the only one that is so into Finch right now, (for the last year) and need it in my life. Switching to find a different app would have been awful and I know some of us looked into doing that, and also into starting over with Finch.

It is a shared relief that we are back to normal and the last theme is done and over! I hope we are all working well again! If anyone is still having problems, do reach out to support and write a very nice email explaining why this is so disruptive for you as you love and rely on what the app provides to you. Even if you are a free user. Today I began the long task of visiting, catching up with, passing out ice cream, and gifting all my friends today, as I remove inactive users. I did about four trees today. I will be hopefully getting to everyone over the next several days!
