I have DOR and I’m in an egg freezing cycle. I only have 1 follicle, which is normal for me. Im on the Microdose Lupron Flare protocol and Ive been on Gonal 300, Menopur 225 Lupron 20units 2x daily, and Omnitrope. I have a 20mm follicle and I’m suppose to trigger tonight, my RE just called and said my estrogen is only 123. He’s concerned with it being this low. Would you still move forward with the retrieval? Has anyone had low estrogen like this and still had a healthy egg?

I’m currently doing the Microdose Lupron Flare protocol. I’m 39, AMH 0.29, FSH 14, AFC was 8.

I’m doing Lupron 20units 2x daily, Gonal 300, Menopur 225, and Omnitrope 28units. I primed with testosterone gel for 1 month and estrogen for 4 days.

Prior to stims—Estrogen: 67
Day 4 of stims— 7 follicles all <10
Day 6 of stims- 5 follicles <10, estrogen 24 😞
Day 8 of stims (today)- 4 follicles <10, 1 follicle 12mm, estrogen 42

Ive had two other IVF cycles with different protocols which resulted in only 1 egg retrieved. The nurse today seemed very concerned with my estrogen level. I don’t want this cycle cancelled. Is there any hope or is it looking bad? I’ve read some people say Microdose Lupron was veryyyy slow, but I feel like my estrogen level is bad.

First cycle was antagonist, I had a lead follicle by day 5, I ovulated that one off and kept going, I ended up with 1 egg, not good quality.

Second cycle was long Lupron, I ended up with 1 egg, good quality, it’s currently frozen.

I’m currently in my third cycle. I primed with Testosterone for 1 month, estrogen for 4 days, and I’m currently doing the Microdose Lupron Flare. Lupron is 20units 2x daily, Gonal 300iu, Menopur 225u, and Omnitrope 28u. My AFC was 8 (most I’ve ever had). I’ve had 5 days of stims (but CD10) and my results today showed that I have a total of 5 follicles all <10 and my estrogen is only 24. The nurse told me they would expect my estrogen to be 300-600 by now. And my lining is only around 3mm. I go back in 2 days (which will be the morning of day 8, or 7 days of stims) and if there is no improvement they said they will cancel this cycle.

Looking for any advice or anyone that showed improvement after a slow start on this protocol, or anything that I could do different? If I should push to go longer or if it’s best to cancel?
