Besides Shin and Lena, my fav side character has got to be my goat Ernst. He's a strong president, a caring father, and a powerful leader. He's happy-go-lucky at times, serious with colleagues, and badass at the perfect moments. The moment where he said he was willing to destroy the world if humanity abandons their ideals was one of the highlights of the Morpho arc. That look in his eyes convinced everyone he was NOT joking about it. All in all, one of the best side characters in the series. And as the leader of the revolution that overthrew the empire, he's probably got a fascinating backstory that has yet to be fully covered in the LN.

I know that slimes are considered low-intelligence, mob-level creatures in the world of Tensura, but why don’t we ever have a second slime character? Considering rimuru’s significant capacity for strengthening monsters, couldn’t we have had a second intelligent and sentient slime?

Sawano Hiroyuki and Kohta Yamamoto really knocked it out of the park with the OST in this series. I just finished my 8th rewatch of the show while waiting for season 2 (which is going to come out in the future for sure), and I've completed up to light novel volume 13. Some of the songs in this show are some of the best anisongs period.

Here are my personal favorites (in order)

1. Voices of the Chord

- Masterpiece. Musical perfection. My ears are mesmerized by what they are hearing.

2. LilaS

- Always makes me remember the happy reunion at the end of Part 2. Puts a smile on my face whenever I listen to it. Perfect for when you're on a picnic on a sunny day with puffy clouds in the sky.

3. Avid

- When I think 86, this is the song that represents it best. Sad and melancholic, yet with a single ray of hope shining against the darkness. Goes well with coffee.

I'm 100% self-taught (if u can call it that). I used reference images. NO tracing. I find Nazuna challenging but extremely rewarding to draw (especially her hairstyle). Anyone else feel the same?

I spent an hour or two immersed in drawing. Used a reference image. Did NOT trace anything. I'm 100% self-taught (if u can even call it that) and I would appreciate if you could give me some pointers or compliment me (though I might get a little full of myself).

After hearing about this show from a friend, I got the idea of watching (or just listening) the episodes with my eyes closed the first time around. Imagining the characters and scenes in my mind, then comparing them to what I saw was a really moving experience. Blind people have it really hard and I truly believe people should have more awareness about it. That's the beauty of this anime, revealing the daily struggles of blind people and showing that we should do our best to give them the same chances as those with sight. Not just ignoring them because they appear to be a hassle, not inviting them because it would "kill the mood", or not talking to them because you "don't want to get involved". Mind you, I know there are many kinds of disabilities out there, but I wanted to take the time to acknowledge at least one of them in this post (I went through a similar experience when I watched A Silent Voice). I would definitely recommend a watch of Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky.

How do you reckon Cid reacted to his statue? I'm guessing he'll probably just be like, "Oh wow, if Alpha had enough funds to build this, I wish she could've slipped me a few coins" or something like that.
