18x8 Hyundai Wheels for Daily

Has anyone done this? I have been looking prior to buying a new 26. And I can't say I enjoy all the wheels I'm seeing. I had heard that there were Elantra wheels that could clear the 2026 EN rotors. It would be wildly convenient if not less expensive to find a set from the dealership and have them add it deal. But it's more important to me that they are 18x8 and have an offset that allows the alternate set of tires to be flush. And I believe I'm looking for 18x8x 36 or so. Thoughts?

YOLO Suicide Into My Tank Should Count as a Kill!

Why didn't I get credit when this yahoo launches from above at me, runs into my tank and blows up? My tank killed theirs, right?

What Do You Do When Nobody Defends a Flank?

This happens so often since 2.0. Do you bother to try to be a speed bump on the open flank? Do you press the flank your team is defending to see if you can help rush a win? Does it depend on the map or tank somehow? So often it's a guaranteed loss. Thanks for ideas.

DCT for Autocross?

The only reason I ask is because my local dealership has eight of them in stock and I'm in the market. However I certainly understand the differences in using a manual versus an automatic for autocross. If the DCT cannot hold gears in Auto shifts even an end mode then it's probably a no. Happy to hear anybody with experience with them who can tell me how well the DCT might actually be able to perform in an autocross versus the manual.

Settings - Controls Help

I've never paid close attention to Controls settings. Today there are lots of features and effects I've not used before but need to define controls for as I keep playing. So, questions!!

  1. "Handbrake" - why?
  2. Cruise Control - why?
  3. Stop and Fire - why?
  4. Fire a Slavo - which tanks and tank mechanics use this? all doubles? what is yours set to?
  5. Auto-Aim/Disable Auto-Aim - can this not work with a single button as a toggle?
  6. Special Ability - which tanks and tank mechanics use this? what is yours set to?
  7. Team Communication - I will never remember what these are set to while being shot at in-game.
  8. Voice Chat - there's voice chat in this game???!?
  9. When do you use Trajectory View?

Thank you!

Considering 2026 BRZ ts As Autocross/Daily

AutoX experience in FWD mostly with some great AWD finishes mixed in. Been a while. Now they call classes Street instead of Stock. LOL Anyway, what should someone like me consider before and after purchase with this kind of intent? It would be like me to get 2 more wheel and tire sets - snow/winter, summer, and auto-x. Wondering about sway bars, brake pad compounds, alignment considerations, and most successful class for the BRZ ts at events. And anything else someone might volunteer! I hear she can daily, right?

Elantra N Seats are a Dealbreaker!

Sat in a 2026 in a showroom. Seats remind me of my Evo but they're smaller and harder. I could probably tolerate them over time. But my wife won't. Will OEM Elantra seats fit??? Something??? Otherwise, I'll move on to another new car for daily/autox use.

SCCA Classification for 2026 Hyundai Elantra N

I see posts here claiming 2025s have been running in DS. However the SCCA classifier site says the 2025 Elantra N belongs in GS, SM, XP, XA, or SMF. Is the 2026 Elantra N's classification options know for 2026? If not, do we have a rough idea when it will be known? Clearly I'm trying to figure out if it runs against GTIs or BRZs, etc. As well as any possible Street or other classifications for modifications. Thank you!

Considering purchase for daily & autocross

Have autocrossed FWD and RWD. Considering DS as well as Street, STU, STH. Need to retain ride comfort so mounts are meh. Would love to hear builds and local competitors/results. So:

DCT vs MT? - miss a manual transmision

Realistic intake/exhaust options with real results?

Sway bar suggestions that work best?

Can I run < 19" wheels?

How much negative camber can I get f & r without crash bolts?

Best tuning options?

All constructive input appreciated!

Tier XI Tech Tree Discounts?

I'm staring down a couple of Tier XI tank purchases for credits since they've been researched. I understand TankFest has had Tech Tree discounts in the past. What are the chances that Tier XI will be included in those discounts? What other occasions have Tech Tree discounts through the year? Thanks!

Antenna Wire Lengths

I can't get good OTA channels in our two story home where we are but I know I can if/once I get an antenna (two?) into the attic. I have two run destinations in mind: basement and family room. Both are likely the furthest one can be from where the antenna's going to go. Plus the wire will have to go some distance horizontally. I don't want to run the wire outside and back in. I believe I can feed straight up from the basement and find attic space. Regardless, my issue is planning and designing. I will need to split the wire from the antenna at least once because I'll want it at two TVs. So how far can I go from the antenna to the TV? How about to an amplifier? How far can I go after the amplifier? Could I perhaps run it down to the basement and then both split the wire for it's two desitnations and amplify the signal for each? Hoping I've defined the problem well enough. I'm not looking for antenna recommendations. I'm looking for the wiring solution for distance and two TVs. Thanks!

When/Which Tanks To Use Grousers?

I know they'll take one of 3 precious slots. But I understand they're better than a turbo on tanks that benefit from them. So I'm curious if the need for grousers can be determined from a tank's specs such as terrain resistances and top speeds. Is it that sttraightforward? Thanks for any insights!

My P2S has been dead since about 16hrs after it was powered up. Troubleshooting led us to the AP board. Replacement now in-hand. I have exposed the AP board, removed the cover, etc. Am now removing cables. There are two cables, one at either and of the board. They are flat, very thin ribbon cables. The AP board replacement instructions ( https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/maintenance/replace-ap-board ) say there is a lock on each that needs to be flipped up. I've done that, as well. What they don't tell me is how to remove the scary thin ribbon cables. I believe they are to be pulled away sideways/from the sides of the board, not pulled straight off the board (perpendicular to the board). Regardless, how do I do that without tearing up the cable? I've been using needlenose for the other wire connectors. But I don't see a way to get a bit on any connectors for these two. It looks like you grab those delicate ribbon cables and pull? Just need someone verification/reassurance before I tear something up. Thanks.

I've downloaded, extracted, and dropped into C:\Games\WorldofTanks\mods\2.2.1.2 where my tomato.gg mod lives. I thought I'd get translations and more?? I'm getting nothing like I've seen the text windows/balloons on the game screen. Bad expectations? Installed wrong? Thanks!
