Halfway there!

Show Me Mastery - Penalty Of Breaching

I don't want to post failed attempts, but I just thought I'd show my progress, since tonight was as far as I have come to beating this yet. I just want to get this over with, and move on to Sons Of Sparta lol.

I just need to figure out how to best deal with that centaur there... Got to her twice now, and she's sturdy.

This is how far I have come to beating Tyr on Show Me Mastery with the Penalty Of Breaching:

Yeah, I know: It's cowardly, it's sloppy, and it is over poor.

But, at the end of the day; it's progress. Just done it, and I am showing this, because maybe someone wants to see it, and learn from my mistakes. Advice is also welcome I suppose. Although I think I got all the theory down. It just comes down to execution, and maybe some luck.

Didn't parry much 'cause I didn't want to take a risk. Even though I likely should have, because I got hit a lot of the times anyways. I didn't attack much, until I was confident in the given opening for said attacks, and prioritized my survival.

It ain't easy when you actually try it. A lot of it is in your head. When you try; all that sits in your head is "don't die". So it always takes me multiple attempts until I balance things out in my mind.

It is odd how throughout chapter 5's marketing we got all those shots of Poppy's doll heads, and even her old cutout, yet in the actual chapter; we did not get anything outside of the usual in regards to Poppy.

I presume all the lore is being saved for chapter 6.

Do you think The Doctor is also a cannibal?

As we all know; The Toys(who are people) eat not only non-experimented-on people(the Playtime staff and whoever else they come across), but themselves as well.

And since in his Q&A video - The Doctor revealed he still needed to eat to sustain his vital organs. AND the obvious food shortage in the factory: Do you think he also resorted to eating the experiments? Or even straight-up normal people?

Sure. With the possession of the executive access of the Omni-Hand, and being The Prototype's chosen ruler of The Shelf, and it's adjacent sections: He could have stashed himself a big supply of regular food. However: With with the food being split between the whole factory, and having to survive a whole decade; I'm not so sure if he could have survived for so long just on whatever he may have potentially gathered of whatever food supplies Playtime Co. may have left behind.

What do you think?

I do like how the Draupnir Spear is a blend of both Greek, and Norse designs.

Initially; outside of the obviously Greek red cloth, I saw the Draupnir Spear was designed in the Norse likeness. As per being crafted within the Norse culture.

However, what I have only noticed recently; the Draupnir Spear also looks very similar to some of the ones fashioned in Greece as well. The decorative markings on the Spear are Norse, while the blade is shaped like - for example - the blade of the spear of the Arms Of Sparta.

Which wonderfully reflects Kratos himself as the donor of the blood infused into the Draupnir Spear: A god from Greece, who now calls this world his home.

Now I don't know if everyone noticed that, and I'm being slow. But I did want to point that out, in case someone didn't notice as well.

I need to vent, because I'm putting myself through some unfair bullcrap, trying to get some small metal plate that I won't even see for 95% of the gameplay.

Does anyone have good advice about dodging minotaurs' siphon charge?

I mostly dodge it fine, but I don't think I got it right enough. They can still get you when you dodge-roll to the side.

One thing I would like for the remakes; is weapon design progression like in the newer games. What you'd want changed/added?

Besides the damage, skill set, and level increase; I also enjoyed the visual improvement of the weapons in games. I certainly felt good maxing out the Blades Of Chaos in "God Of War: Ascension", and them looking more powerful. The maxed out Blades Of Athena, and the Blade Of Artemis turning red was also nice. And of course: The Norse Saga had a wonderful visual touch. Both the armor, and weapons looked stronger alongside your game progression.

I would like the Greek trilogy remake to emphasize on that. Perhaps magic spells could emanate more particles, and weapons have gradual design boosts based on their level.

Whilst on the subject, I wanted to ask: What's something you'd like to see improved and/or changed in the remakes?

I understand how important it is for the fans for the game to stay true to the original. However with this chance to make something better than it was, the game doesn't have to be literally 1:1. So what would you say you would consider an improvement?
