A Dead Mall reanimated, Stamford Town Center (Stamford, CT)

Today I was at this mall because a Cardshow was being hosted, normally it is quiet as most people go to Macy's to shop and Barnes and Noble (which is closing). But today the Center Court was busy as tables outlined it and had people looking at the trading cards to buy, this was the busiest I've seen this mall in years. There was also a farmers market outside of the mall which contributed to the indoor foot traffic abit but to go to the plaza with the market you have to go through the parking into an eerie passageway (it used to be you could enter from Saks but that store closed and the replacement doesn't have that exit as accessible anymore)

Visiting the Barnes and Noble in the Stamford Town Center (CT) for probably the last time

A few months back I posted on here how this was an Outlet store. In May, they announced they were closing their doors, here is how it looks as of today. The books are 5 for 25 right now and fixtures are on sale

From the Norwalk Hour - SoNo Collection mall in Norwalk faces foreclosure as it fights property assessment

This is a relatively new mall and to see it struggling so quick is a shame

Article is paywalled so I left a non-paywalled link:
