Grifting 101: Only defend Nintendo when their actions dont personally affect you!

This is a real sentiment I've seen argued constantly. I'm not sure where it originates from, but people genuinely have this urge to white knight Nintendo when it comes to their disrespect of legacy voice actors (Charles Martinet, Samantha Kelly, etc) and its almost always the semantic of "they're in their right!' Funny, as it'll be from the same people who'll constantly complain about their "anti-consumerism". Nintendo are objectively beyond in their right to how they handle their business practices, compared to disrespecting the wishes of people who have worked for them for decades.

Such a baffling lack of criticism for this company, like, I could not care less if you cant be bothered to emulate a perfectly preserved 25 year old game that'll run on near anything, or that you have to pay $10 more for a game that you'd still buy if it was $50 more. The VA stuff is an elephant that NEEDS addressing and I'm sick of people pretending it isn't.
