Trying to minimize and simplify. I need shelves for action figures, a place to store games and controllers and I hope to put up some art / posters. I’ll try and update my progress as I go along this summer.

I purchased a PS5 for $80 from FBMP. It was sold as spares and repairs. They only mentioned that they botched an HDMI port replacement. When I opened it, I saw that a RAM chip was missing and when I cleaned the solder off… this is what I found. Is it even worth attempting to repair???

Does anyone know what causes this green checker pattern and system freeze?
