has anyone bought the three mocks that are on the website? predicted, challenging and whatever those ones? does anyone know if they’re new unseen questions or just compiled from questions that are already in the question bank?
I know cambridge asks for UMS for each module for those who take modular exams in the my cambridge application, and some of mine are a low A (243 UMS in physics and 250 in FM)
I do have both predicted a*, my exams were cancelled due to war in the middle east and the portfolio of evidence method was super weird, i got 68/80 on physics Unit 2 and they have the midpoint UMS for a B, 43/50 Unit 3 and same thing, making my UMS low
In further maths i got 74/75 on the paper submitted to edexcel but they gave 65 UMS (???) but hopefully that goes up when the remark comes back
My question is will cambridge engineering see the low UMS and see the A Star predicted and look negatively on my application? Although there’s context getting that low UMS might make them think i’m not an A star calibre student
Feels like i’m plateauing in maths sections, my physics is relatively strong.

Can anyone tell me if they used a tutor for the ESAT, and if it genuinely helped?
Wondering if i should do it but im not sure what they can teach me really, feels like more of a grind on your own kind of thing to me.
If anyone can lmk their experience with one and if you actually found it helpful and what kind of things they taught you, if its just explaining questions eg its not that helpful as I have teachers and AI, but if they teach genuine helpful tricks to save time or whatever it’d be useful for me.
What do i use to study after finishing ESAT specimen and practice, NSAA and ENGAA papers. Started using TMUA P1 but finding the question style dissimilar to ESAT. Are there any other resources you guys are using?

Why is it that despite having similar offer rates, if you do well in the ESAT you are much more likely to receive an interview and offer for aeronautical engineering compared to mechanical? For example if you get 20 average on the esat around 75% get in for aeronautical, whereas its like 40 for Mechanical. Seems a bit unfair to me that I could do so well on the ESAT and still only have a 50% chance of getting in. Unless im missing something

Has anyone tried using a portable hard drive as storage for their ROMs? Have your library on there and transfer them over in 10 mins max whenever you want to play a game? My Mac doesn’t have space so I need some kind of storage anyway.

Might’ve been said before but there’s one reddit user, u/Neypotzli, and his discord is Vulconus, who is trying to scam people. Thought i’d warn people and show signs for future buyers who might get messaged. Think he regularly makes new accounts so look for these signs.

I'm preparing for the ESAT in October, and I did the sample practice papers to see where I'm at in terms of base knowledge. I got 19/27, 10/27, 11/27 on Maths 1, 2 and Physics respectively.
However for Maths 2 and Physics I realised that I just don't know a lot of the content. For example in physics there's stuff about radioactivity, transformers, generators that I either haven't learned or have forgotten since GCSEs. Is there a place there are structured lessons, kind of like save my exams but for ESAT? I thought of exam ninja training temple but apparently it's a bit useless.
If anyone could share how they are learning the content, or if you've already done it it would be a great help
