Partner Search

Helloooo. <3

Here I am. Again. At this point, searching for a long term writing partner has become less of a hobby and more of an annual migration pattern.

I promise I am nice.

I just want someone who also enjoys taking perfectly functional fictional people, handing them several avoidable problems, shaking the container vigorously, and seeing what happens.

I’m 21, UK based, and write anywhere from literate to novella depending on what is actually happening. Sometimes a scene needs 600 words. Sometimes somebody pauses halfway through making a cup of tea and apparently I need to submit a small dissertation explaining why. There is no in between. I love character focused, long term stories with actual plots. That's probably the biggest thing I'm looking for.

I don't want the entire story revolving around one single element or interaction. I want our characters to actually have lives. Jobs. Families. Friends. Responsibilities. Goals. Problems. Hobbies. Weird neighbours. That coworker they would happily launch directly into the sun. A mother who somehow always calls at the worst possible moment. A favourite takeaway where the staff already know their order. A car that's been making a concerning noise for three months that they keep choosing to ignore.

Give me LORE.

I want something where we start with a vague idea and six months later we're discussing the implications of an event neither of us had even invented when we started. I want plots that actually move. I want consequences. I want character development. I want stupid decisions. I want characters confidently announcing that they have everything under control approximately twelve seconds before everything becomes considerably less under control.

Most importantly, I want collaboration. Please throw ideas at me. If you suddenly message me at 11:47 p.m. with: WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA I am listening. If your idea is completely ridiculous? Even better. If it requires us to rewrite seventeen pieces of established lore and introduce somebody's estranged aunt who lives in Wisconsin?

GET THE AUNT.

Half the fun for me is plotting OOC and gradually building this ridiculous little fictional universe together. And I mean building it. I will make side characters. You will make side characters. Our side characters will accidentally become important. Some random neighbour called Dave who was created exclusively because we needed somebody to collect a parcel will somehow acquire a job, a divorce, two children, an ongoing dispute with the local council and his own subplot.

We will become emotionally invested in Dave. Nobody planned for Dave. This is how it happens. I want families with actual personalities and histories instead of conveniently spawning whenever the plot requires a parent. I want friendships. I want workplaces. I want recurring locations. I want inside jokes that make absolutely no sense anymore because they originated 200 replies ago. I want tiny details becoming important months later completely by accident. I want one of us to casually reference something that happened ages ago and the other immediately appear OOC screaming: YOU REMEMBERED THAT????

I also need you to understand something extremely important before contacting me. I use Pinterest irresponsibly. I will find houses. I will find apartments. I will find outfits. I will find restaurants. I will decide what their kitchen looks like. I will find the exact stupid little coffee cup sitting beside their sink. Nobody asked me to do this. It will happen anyway. At some point I will send you a board containing 184 images and say something incredibly helpful like: "okay hear me out" There will be no further explanation. You will simply have to enter the enclosure and observe.

As far as characters go, my main OC will always be a woman (sometimes i play male characters, but I'm more picky), but you can bring whoever you enjoy writing. I genuinely love hearing about people's OCs, especially the ones you've been carrying around in your brain for an unreasonable amount of time waiting for somewhere to use them.

I'm also completely happy chatting OOC. You don't need to disappear into the mist between replies unless that's your preference. Send me memes. Send me plot thoughts. Send me a picture and say "this is literally them." Send me a completely incomprehensible message about something our characters did three months ago. I will probably understand.

Basically, I want a long term writing partner who wants to create something big, messy, detailed, funny, occasionally painful, and actually alive. Not one repetitive storyline. Not characters existing in a vacuum. I want a whole stupid universe. A plot with other plots hiding inside it. Characters who change. Side characters who refuse to stay side characters. Running jokes. Callbacks. Bad decisions. Unexpected consequences. Entire conversations OOC beginning with "technically..." and ending with us completely restructuring the next month of writing.

If that sounds like your particular flavour of nonsense, please come say hi. Bring me your characters. Bring me your ideas. Bring me the deranged Google Doc. Bring me the plot you've restarted four times because nobody has ever quite matched your energy. Bring me the Pinterest board you should probably be embarrassed about but absolutely aren't.

I promise I'm nice.

I just want to put some fictional people in a little terrarium with you and study them for six months. <3

[F4A] Partner Search (This seemed cheaper than therapy.)

Helloooo. <3

I am once again searching for a long term writing partner because I've been struck by the overwhelming urge to take two fictional people with perfectly manageable problems and convince them that communication is actually the worst possible solution.

I'm 21, UK based, and write in a literate to novella style. I enjoy detailed replies, character focused stories, emotional tension, and spending an unreasonable amount of time analysing why somebody stared out of a window slightly differently than usual.

I mainly write modern settings, drama, slice of life, and grounded supernatural stories. Give me flawed characters making questionable decisions and I'll happily spend the next six months emotionally attached to them.

A quick note before we get into ideas: I write female lead characters only, but I'm happy to write opposite characters of any gender.

Some story dynamics I always come back to:

- Former friends forced back into each other's lives.

- Rich × poor.

- Success × failure.

- Thriving × barely holding it together.

- A public figure × someone completely unimpressed by them.

- A retired athlete trying to rebuild their life after a career ending injury.

- A widowed parent learning how to move forward.

- Rivals who never quite learned how to be normal around each other.

- Two people who insist they dislike each other despite overwhelming evidence otherwise.

If a story revolves around complicated histories, contrasting personalities, misunderstandings, personal growth, difficult choices, or characters repeatedly making life harder for themselves, I'm probably interested.

One of my favourite dynamics is an emotionally guarded woman paired with an endlessly optimistic person who somehow ends up becoming part of her life despite her best efforts.

I also love plotting outside of the RP because that's honestly half the fun.

I enjoy building supporting casts, families, friendships, workplaces, recurring jokes, and all the little details that make a world feel lived in (AKA I spend far too much time on Pinterest).

If you enjoy collaborative storytelling, detailed writing, slow-burn character development, and getting far too invested in fictional people making spectacularly bad decisions, I think we'd get along.

Partner Search (It's Not a Red Flag If They're Immortal)

Helloooo. <3

I'm 21, UK based, and write in a literate to novella style. I love detailed replies, character focused stories, emotional tension, and spending an unreasonable amount of time analysing why somebody stood in a doorway for 0.7 seconds longer than usual.

This time I'm specifically looking for a modern vampire story with a gothic, small town atmosphere. Think endless forests, old legends nobody quite believes anymore, missing persons posters slowly appearing around town, suspiciously pretty people who only seem to come out after sunset, and everyone insisting everything is completely normal despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

The basic premise goes something like this...

My character has just arrived in yet another small, isolated town tucked away amongst miles of woodland. She has purchased a huge abandoned manor deep within the forest and, because apparently centuries of life don't cure terrible financial decisions, she's determined to renovate the entire thing herself before moving in properly.

The locals think she's just the strange new woman living in the creepy house everyone avoided for decades. She lets them think that. As far as she's concerned, she's the only supernatural creature left in town.

She is very, very wrong.

Whether your character is another vampire, a werewolf, witch, fae, hunter, or something entirely different, I'll happily plot together. The only thing I'd really love to keep is that they are almost painfully opposite to my character.

She's quiet.

They're sunshine.

She's emotionally unavailable.

They're somehow determined to make that everyone else's problem.

She actively avoids getting attached to people.

They've apparently decided becoming part of her life is now a full time occupation.

Even worse...They're fated mates.

Unfortunately for them, Iris would rather pretend fate doesn't exist than admit it might have a point. Of course, she's not exactly making a brilliant first impression. Not long after she arrives, people begin disappearing.

The town is small enough that everyone notices. The timing is... unfortunate. The obvious assumption is that the mysterious newcomer living alone in the haunted manor has something to do with it.

The awkward part? They're right. Mostly.

Being a vampire means feeding has to happen somehow, and she's survived for centuries by making difficult decisions she'd rather not explain. Whether the disappearances are entirely her doing, whether something else has followed her into town, or whether an even bigger threat is lurking in the woods is something I'd love for us to develop together.

Because Iris isn't just hiding what she is. She's hiding from someone. Or perhaps something. She's spent centuries constantly moving, never staying anywhere long enough to put down roots. She insists it's habit.

It probably isn't.

Whatever she's running from is patient enough to wait decades before striking again. And she's beginning to suspect this town wasn't chosen by accident.

A little about Iris...

Centuries ago she was born into a family of monster hunters before being betrayed by the people she trusted most and forcibly turned into the very thing she'd been raised to destroy. She's had hundreds of years to become very, very good at being a vampire.

She owns galleries wherever she settles, paints under countless different names, has accumulated enough wealth to never worry about money again, and possesses all the terrifying abilities you'd expect from someone who's survived for centuries.

She's incredibly composed, intelligent, observant, and difficult to read. Very little Internet presence.

She also has the emotional availability of a locked bank vault. Which is exactly why I'd love to pair her with someone who smiles too much, talks too much, adopts introverts against their will, and generally treats her endless attempts to push people away as mildly inconvenient suggestions.

Beyond the romance, I want mysteries to unravel, secrets to surface, ancient rivalries, supernatural politics, morally grey characters, creepy forests that absolutely contain things they shouldn't, found family, recurring side characters, emotional slow burn, and enough drama to keep us emotionally compromised for the foreseeable future.

I absolutely love plotting outside the RP. Half the fun is building the world together, creating supporting characters, discussing future arcs, sharing Pinterest boards, sending playlists at 2am, and accidentally creating enough lore to fill an encyclopedia.

If any of this sounds like your kind of story, please send me a message! Tell me a little about yourself, your writing style, and the character or creature you'd like to play.

[F4A] Partner Search <3 (This seemed easier than therapy)

Helloooo <3

Please stop whatever emotionally healthy activity you're currently doing.

I am searching for a long term RP partner because I have once again been struck by the overwhelming desire to take two fictional people with perfectly manageable problems and make them dramatically worse.

I'm 21, UK based, and write literate to novella style. I enjoy detailed replies, strong character development, emotional tension, and spending an unreasonable amount of time exploring why characters make the decisions they do.

I love modern settings, drama, slice of life, character focused stories, and grounded supernatural plots.

My favourite stories usually involve people who could solve most of their problems with a single conversation. Unfortunately, they have other plans.

Some dynamics I enjoy include:

• Former friends forced back into each other's lives.

• Rich × poor.

• Success × failure.

• Thriving × barely holding it together.

• Famous person × someone completely unimpressed by fame.

• Retired athlete rebuilding their life after an injury.

• A widowed parent trying to move forward.

• Rivals who never learned how to be normal around each other.

• Two people who insist they dislike each other despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

I especially enjoy stories built around clashing personalities, complicated histories, power imbalances, misunderstandings, personal growth, and characters repeatedly making life harder for themselves.

My favourite dynamic will always be:

Emotionally unavailable woman × relentlessly optimistic man.

She says: "I don't need anyone."

He says: "Okay."

And then proceeds to become involved in absolutely every aspect of her life.

I'm also looking for someone who enjoys plotting outside of the RP because half the fun is receiving messages that say things like: "What if this had consequences?", "What if we made the situation worse?", "What if the misunderstanding lasted three months longer than necessary?"

If you enjoy collaborative storytelling, detailed writing, character development, slow burn plots, and becoming far too invested in fictional people, I'd love to hear from you.

My characters are trying their best. Their best is usually the problem.

[F4F] Partner Search <3 (This seemed easier than therapy)

Hellooo <3

Please stop whatever emotionally healthy activity you're currently doing.

I am searching for a long term RP partner because I have once again been struck by the overwhelming desire to take two fictional people with perfectly manageable issues and launch them directly into the consequences of their own actions.

I'm 21, UK based, and write literate to novella style. I like detailed replies, strong character development, emotional tension, and spending 1,000 words explaining why somebody looked out of a window slightly differently than usual.

I love romance, drama, modern settings, slice of life, and grounded supernatural plots.

My favourite plots involve two people who could solve every single problem they're having with one honest conversation.

Unfortunately, neither of them is interested in doing that.

Give me:

• Toxic exes who keep breaking up and somehow become even more involved in each other's lives.

• Rich girl × broke guy.

• Famous actor × person who genuinely does not care.

• Retired athlete with a career ending injury × the person helping them figure out what comes next.

• Widow who has sworn off men forever × the new nanny she absolutely did not need to find attractive.

• Fake dating that starts as a simple plan and somehow ends with everyone involved requiring emotional support.

• Childhood friends who reconnect and immediately make each other's lives worse.

• Two people who hate each other so much that every single person around them assumes they're secretly in love.

I especially love power imbalances.

Success × failure.

Rich × poor.

Thriving × barely holding it together.

Person with a detailed five year life plan × person who thinks planning ahead is remembering to charge their phone.

My favourite dynamic will forever be:

Emotionally unavailable woman × human golden retriever man.

She says:

"I don't need anyone."

He says:

"That's nice."

And then proceeds to become her problem anyway.

I also require someone who enjoys plotting outside of the RP because half of my creative process is randomly appearing with messages such as:

"What if we ruined everything?"

"What if this misunderstanding lasted six months?"

"What if they accidentally fell in love at the worst possible moment?"

"What if we made this everyone's problem?"

If your characters are emotionally mature, communicate effectively, and consistently make sensible decisions, I wish them all the best in life.

She says:

"I don't need anyone."

He says:

"Okay."

And then proceeds to become involved in absolutely every aspect of her life.

I'm also looking for someone who enjoys plotting outside of the RP because half the fun is receiving messages that say things like:

"What if this had consequences?"

"What if we made the situation worse?"

"What if the misunderstanding lasted three months longer than necessary?"

If you enjoy collaborative storytelling, detailed writing, character development, slow-burn plots, and becoming far too invested in fictional people, I'd love to hear from you.

My characters are trying their best.

Their best is usually the problem.

[F4A] Partner Search <3 (This seemed easier than therapy)

Mine will be standing in a rainstorm having an argument that could have been an email.

[F4A] Long Term Roleplay Search

Hello!

I'm 21 and based in the UK. I'm looking for a long term roleplay partner interested in collaborative storytelling and character focused plots.

I write literate to novella style and enjoy detailed replies, strong characterization, worldbuilding, and long term development. My favourite stories are those where characters grow over time and their choices have meaningful consequences.

I enjoy modern settings, drama, mystery, slice of life, and supernatural elements. I'm happy to discuss ideas together and build something that suits both of our interests.

I enjoy planning, brainstorming, and discussing future plot developments outside of the roleplay itself.

I primarily write female characters and am looking for someone interested in creating a long-term story together.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message with information about your writing style and the kinds of stories you enjoy.

[F4M] Partner Search

Hiiii <3 I am searching for someone who enjoys taking fictional people with manageable problems and making everything significantly worse for entertainment purposes.

I’m 21, UK based, and looking for a long term RP partner who loves character driven stories, slow burns, emotional tension, chaotic decisions, and relationships built almost entirely on bad timing and poor communication.

I write literate - novella style, so expect detail, atmosphere, emotional damage, and characters having full internal breakdowns because somebody looked at them for slightly too long.

I love modern settings, romance, drama, slice of life, and grounded supernatural plots. Give me fake dating. Give me forced proximity. Give me exes reconnecting and immediately remembering why they broke up. Give me two emotionally repressed idiots choosing psychological warfare instead of admitting they like each other.

My favourite dynamic is emotionally unavailable woman × human golden retriever with terrible survival instincts.

She has trust issues, a five year plan, and enough emotional repression to power a small country. They run entirely on iced coffee, blind optimism, and “it’ll probably be fine” moments before causing irreversible emotional damage.

I want:

• banter that accidentally becomes flirting

• arguments over stupid things that somehow turn life changing

• awkward tension

• accidental jealousy

• “we are NOT dating” while acting like a divorced couple with shared custody of a coffee machine

I’m specifically looking for someone who enjoys plotting outside the RP too because I fully support sending unhinged “wait what if this made everything worse” messages at 2am.

I write FxM and FxF (I play F), and I’d love someone who enjoys long term stories, collaborative plotting, and becoming way too emotionally attached to fictional people who desperately need therapy.

Bonus points if the consequences were entirely self inflicted.

[F4M or F] Long Term RP Partner Search

Hello. Hi. I am looking for someone who wants to take perfectly fixable fictional situations and make them infinitely worse for entertainment purposes.

I’m 21, UK based, and searching for a long term RP partner who enjoys character-driven stories, slow burns so painful they qualify as psychological warfare, and relationships built on terrible timing, unresolved issues, and at least one person saying “this is a bad idea” immediately before doing it anyway.

I write literate to novella style which means my replies contain detail, emotional analysis, unnecessary observations about body language, and characters having full existential crises in the middle of completely avoidable situations. If you enjoy dialogue with actual chemistry, emotional tension, chaotic energy, and characters digging their own graves one horrible decision at a time, we will probably get along beautifully.

I love modern settings, romance, drama, slice of life, and grounded supernatural plots. Give me opposites attract. Give me fake dating. Give me forced proximity. Give me exes reconnecting despite every warning sign in existence. Give me two people who cannot stand each other but also somehow end up emotionally codependent by accident.

My absolute favourite dynamic is emotionally unavailable disaster woman × human golden retriever who should honestly know better by now. One of them has a five year plan, colour coded schedules, and enough emotional repression to power a small city. The other survives entirely on instinct, iced coffee, and saying “it’ll probably be fine” moments before causing irreversible damage.

I love characters who are deeply flawed but somehow still convinced they’re the reasonable one in every situation. I want arguments that start over something stupid and somehow end with life-altering emotional revelations. I want awkward tension. I want banter so aggressive it becomes flirting against everyone’s will. I want scenes where two characters are clearly in love but instead of admitting it they choose psychological warfare.

I am specifically looking for someone who enjoys plotting, talking about characters outside the RP, sending unhinged “what if they accidentally made everything worse” messages at 2am, and becoming emotionally attached to fictional people who desperately need several forms of intervention.

If this sounds entertaining to you, please message me with your favourite trope, your most dramatic idea, or the absolute worst decision your character has ever made. Extra points if the consequences were catastrophic and entirely self inflicted.

Hello my darlings <3

I’m 21, UK based, and currently searching for a long term RP partner who is ready to collaboratively ruin some fictional people’s lives in the most entertaining, emotionally devastating, “why would you do that” kind of way.

I want something character driven, messy, slow burning, and just self aware enough that we both know the choices being made are terrible… but we let them happen anyway. For the plot. Obviously.

(Make sure you read this entire post otherwise you won't know the magic password)

☁️Writing Style☁️

I write literate → novella, which means:

• You will get detail (yes, even about things that probably don’t need that much detail)

• You will get internal thoughts (overthinking is a lifestyle)

• You will get characters being analysed like they are real people I have personally beef with

• You will get pacing that actually allows things to build instead of magically resolving in three replies

If you like emotional payoff, subtle development, and characters slowly digging their own graves perfect, we’ll get along great.

☁️Pairings☁️

• F × M

• F × F

(I play female characters, and I’m very attached to them in a slightly concerning way.)

☁️I Will Absolutely Lose My Mind Over☁️

• Black cat × golden retriever

She: emotionally unavailable, sarcastic, has considered moving countries to avoid feelings Them: sunshine, persistent, somehow immune to being told to go away

• Opposites attract

Planner vs chaos gremlin. Cynic vs optimist. “I have a spreadsheet” vs “I have vibes.” They argue constantly. It’s chemistry.

• Complicated relationships

Best friend’s sibling. Coworkers who absolutely should be more professional. Bad timing. Worse decisions. Regret? Never heard of her.

• Forced proximity

Roommates. Neighbours. Stuck in situations where avoiding each other is not an option. They will try. It will fail. Repeatedly.

• Fake dating → something real

“It’s just a plan.” It is not just a plan.

• Childhood friends → something more

Years of history + one tiny shift = emotional disaster

• Exes reconnecting

“We’ve both changed.” They have not changed.

• Strangers → reluctant allies → oh no

They don’t even like each other at first. Which is obviously the best foundation for feelings.

• “This is a bad idea” dynamics

They acknowledge it. They discuss it. They do it anyway.

☁️Genre Preferences☁️

Quick note before anyone whips out dragons and ancient prophecies, I love fantasy. I read it constantly. I will happily scream about it. But I have absolutely overdone it in RP at this point.

So right now I’m mainly looking for:

• Modern settings

• Romance

• Drama

• Slice of life

• Supernatural (with the right plot think grounded with a twist, not full high fantasy worldbuilding marathons)

If there’s a hint of chaos and emotional damage in a modern setting? Even better.

☁️What I Bring to the Table☁️

• Characters with actual personalities, flaws, and deeply questionable coping mechanisms.

• Dialogue that feels natural (and occasionally a little too real)

• Banter. So much banter.

• Slow development that earns its emotional moments

• A mix of light, funny scenes and ones that quietly hurt your feelings later

Also I have a ridiculous number of plot ideas and a full cast of characters ready to go, but I love building things together and bouncing ideas around.

☁️What I’m Looking For☁️

• No Minors (I am 21, let’s keep it age appropriate)

• Someone who enjoys detailed, long-form writing

• Long-term commitment (I am not emotionally recovering from a “two weeks and vanish” arc again)

• Communication, collaboration, and actual enthusiasm

If you like talking about characters, plotting, sending “what if they did this?” messages at unreasonable hours, and generally getting invested you’re exactly who I’m looking for.

☁️Final Note☁️

I’m not interested in plots that revolve entirely around 18+ content. I’m here for story, development, tension, and character arcs that make sense. If those elements aren’t there, I will get bored, and I will disappear into the void like a dramatic Victorian ghost.

If this sounds like your kind of chaos, come say hi.

Tell me:

• your favourite trope

• your most dramatic idea

• or the absolute worst decision your character has ever made
