Opinion on Université catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) degree in international management, economics?

Hi everyone,

I recently moved to France with my family few months again. I have already finished high school (I did international A levels.)

I am considering applying for university in France but unfortunately I only have B1- level of French. I came across a undergraduate program in English. “\*\*Bachelor Degree in International Management, Economics and Business Ethics”\*\* Université catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) in France.

From what I can see, it is a private university but it seems to be officially recognized in France and offers a state-accredited degree. However, I am not very familiar with the French university system. And how this university is regarded in practice.

If anyone has studied there, knows someone who did or has insight into French higher education, I would really appreciate your honest opinions (good or bad).

How is university and program in terms of:
Academic quality

Reputation in France and internationally

Career prospects after graduation

Thank you.

L1 ÉCONOMIE-GESTION - PARCOURS INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM IN ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT (IPEM)

https://feg.univ-amu.fr/fr/l1-economie-gestion-parcours-international-program-economics-management-ipem

Merci.

What can I do? I want to apply for university but my final results only come after application deadline.

Hi, I am currently an international student taking Edexcel International A Levels and I am interested in studying in the Netherlands, particularly in Economics or Business Administration.

I have just started researching universities. I looked into a few universities with programs in my interests. But I have run into an obstacle run regarding application timelines. I am aiming for the September 2027 intake but I noticed that many deadlines are around April 1 but unfortunately I won’t receive my final A Level results until a few months later.

I really don’t want to wait one year and apply for the next year intake. So, I wanted to ask whether anyone has experienced a similar situation. Is it possible to apply using AS Level results and then submit A2 results once they are available? Do universities in the Netherlands typically offer conditional admissions in cases like this?

Any insight or personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Does edexcel IAL have an official certificate that’s different from the result statement

As the title says

I am new to edexcel A level so I don’t know how the system works. My question is, do you receive a certificate or diploma that’s separate from statement of result after you cash in all the scores?

Foreign student Interested in studying in Switzerland. Worried about acceptance. Are my chances low?

Hi, I am a foreign high school student interested in applying for the English taught bachelor in economics in Switzerland of bilingual program in French and English. I don’t speak German but I have a B1 level of French, not sure if that will make a difference.

These are the programs I am interested in:

UNIL- bachelor in business economics
UNIGE - bachelor in economics and management
HESGE - bachelor in international business

These are all I was able to find. Are there any other programs that is English or bilingual?

Now for my question, I was wondering how strict is the acceptance for these universities. Especially for these programs ? I tried looking online but I was unsuccessful. I assume foreign diplomas would have stronger criteria?

The application fee is around 100 CHF which adds up a lot if I apply to many different universities. Edit: no I am not worried about the 100 CHF fee 😭. I was just wondering if I should even send in my application for 3+ university only to get rejected. Thats why I made this post because I heard the the acceptance rate may be very low for foreign diploma holders. I know it’s a stupid logic. But I wanted to know if it’s worth applying if the chances are very low.

Has anyone successfully joined a bachelor program in UNIl with a foreign high school diploma? If so, can you tell me about your experience.

Edit: sorry guys, didn’t realize this post would get so much backlash. It’s also my fault for wording the post so badly. I was only wondering if anyone applied to these with a foreign diploma and how was the process. Like would you get accepted if you meet all requirements and if there is enough space. What are the chances of a rejection even if I meet all the requirements.

English or bilingual Undergraduate bachelor program.

Hi, I am currently a high school student interested in studying in France but I don’t know where to begin. I am interested in the field of economics and finance. Maybe even marketing.

Most program taught in English are in the post graduate level. I am curious, has anyone studied a bachelor’s program that’s taught in English in France?

I know people might call me crazy for looking for English undergraduate programs in France 😭. I have a B1- in French and I am trying to improve but I don’t think I’d ever feel confident doing a whole degree entirely in French. I

I am bilingual programs in French and English. I did find a few but I am not sure if they are reputable or just a scam.

I am curious, has anyone done an English undergraduate degree in France? Doesn’t have to only in economics or finance. I am mainly curious about your experience.

Any undergraduate students?

Hi, I am currently a high school student interested in studying in Netherlands. I mostly looking into economics or finance.

I saw that many programme in English are maple at post graduate or masters level. So, I am curious. Anyone studying their bachelors in Netherlands? If so can I know your experience? What program you chose and what made you decide to study in Netherlands.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. The process feels too overwhelming. I am mostly worried about application deadline because I might not get my full exam results by the deadlines so I am worried I could only wait and apply the next year. Has anyone ever been in such situation?
