Real life owning of a fake

Hello,
I have been thinking of getting a replica and wanted to see what you guys experience of owning one. I often ask myself “why do I want one?’ And I say to myself “It’s for me.” Even if I had 10K-15K to spend, I would never spend that on a watch period. My experience of being a watch lover for 10 years is that no one ever asks me about my watch. If I had a replica and someone came up to me and said “hey, nice Rolex” what would I tell them? Would I immediately say that is fake or just thank them and carry on. What if a friend or family member says something like you own a Rolex? Would I tell them the truth?
What is y’all experience and are you honest or just show it off like it’s authentic? Let me know…

Pagani design PD1682 issue

I recently bought the Pagani homage to Rolex explorer 2 polar and I’m happy with the looks and feel of it but it runs bad. The seconds hand goes wonky at the 8 through 25 second marker. It jerks around. It runs pretty fast too. Around 5 minutes a day. I removed the movement from case and from what I can see, it has no lubrication on anything. No grease on setting lever parts or crown. I looked up the movement that comes with it and it’s called a pearl DG5833 but the only ones I can find have a second hour wheel. Kind of looks like a skydweller but for gmt hours. Has anyone ever replaced the movement in this watch with something else with a 4 hand movement? If so do the hands fit? Need a new movement spacer? Thx
