I'm looking for a transcription of the newer version of Pentatonix o holy night. All I can ever find is the older version. Can anyone point me to this?

One thing has always bothered me: if someone has an extremely defended position, it seems like it should be possible to "wear them down" over time. Like, you should be able to battle them once and, yeah, you may lose the battle, but a few of their troops will die. So the next person to attack them will have a better chance.

But the way it is (unless I'm wrong, or unless it's changed in New Foundations) is that you will lose, and then in the next battle they'll have the same number of troops and dice so... You'll probably lose again. And then same for the next and the next.

I get that the dice MAY come up different but... It seems to me that another attack - especially from a fresh army - should have a better CHANCE to win, not the same chance.

What am I missing?

I am a Bible-believing Christian, and have been all my life. (I'm approaching 50.) I kindof chafe, however, at the Complementarian view, when exercised in the church. I don't have a clear systematic grounding for this *feeling* however, so I'm trying to understand the two viewpoints better. Essentially, I want to question my position (since it's not really a "position", it's just a feeling), and arrive at a more satisfactory knowledge of *why* I believe what I do.

I found this article as a starting point. It leans Egalitarian. So, Egalitarians: are the the same points you would make? Complimentarians: how would you take apart his arguements? Egalitarians: how would you respond to their counter-points?

I really don't hope to start a fight. I really want to understand better. :)

Talk to me about automating things. If you automate workers (or disciples, or explorers) what's the algorithm? Does it take into account your ambitions?

I've kind of assumed they would behave in particular ways, and I automated my explorers... Who then immediately went in the opposite direction of the undiscovered land that they were right next to. I had an ambition to reveal 80% of the land. I assumed they would naturally explore those areas, but after 10 years there was almost no new land reveal. As soon as I took direct control of them, I was able to reveal 2% of the land per year at least. So clearly... Something else was governing their actions.

So later on, when I had an ambition to build all of the legendary improvements, I wasn't about to automate my workers, because I didn't know what the heck they were going to build! :D

I've been battling Hatti for like 15 years. They were "weaker" than me, and now they're "much weaker" than me. Still, every turn two fresh units show up from somewhere each turn to kill one or two of mine. All this while Persia, next to them, is supposedly also at war with them.

I haven't taken ONE city. As far as I can see, there's no end in sight.

I need some help finding a mini for my DnD campaign. I'm a sorcerer (well, actually a sorlock) and I've got the "runechild" bloodline and now, at level 18, the Arcane Exemplar form! Here's the description:

"As a Runechild, your body is interwoven with the very fabric of magic, allowing you to store magical energy as Charged Runes whenever you cast spells. When you activate your Arcane Exemplar Form, you channel those runes to transform into a being of pure magical energy."

I'm imagining it a little like the Human Torch in Marvel Comics: a nude male form (not entirely - you know what I mean), energy instead of flames around parts of his body, obviously in flight. No weapons, hands outstretched in casting.

I spent an hour last night on various websites and couldn't find anything like what I'm picturing. The closest were actually air and water elementals, but those were obviously evil-looking, if you know what I mean. My stat is charisma, so I want him to be beautiful. (Queue the quote from Galadriel.)

So! Anybody ever seen anything like that??
