Does the web store carrot bonus apply before or after purchase?

With all the new drops I’m gonna hit diamond tier but will I get 4x carrots for it or will I only get the 4x for purchases made after? I’m thinking it would be better to make 2 purchases to maximize carrots if it’s only for orders made after
