Are you afraid of you bank deposits considering many banks are lacking reserves to back up their deposits.

Hi there. I currently work at a bank. Based on what I'm seeing and hearing, I've decided to pull out ALL my savings out of my bank account. My rationale is that the bank I work for is having a hard time getting any deposits. If there were a bank run, the bank would collapse overnight. How are you feeling about the safety of your savings,.

Safest area of USA when the sh*t hits the fan

Hello All, I am originally from the PNW, currently living in the Midwest. I was just back home for a visit and my friends and family are increasingly concerned about looming fascism/collapse/civil war. They think I would be safer back on the west coast.

If you had the opportunity and money to move out of the US to a different country, would you stay or move?

Considering the state of the USA (high debt to gdp ratio, politics, healthcare, cost of living, etc.), would you move out of the USA if money was no issue?

They already know everything about you

Normally, anyone working for the government (cops, FBI, ICE, &c) needs a warrant signed by a judge that has proper justification for "search" (that includes your texts, phone calls, location data, or *any* of your data, belongings, etc.) The Fourth Amendment protects us from this. If a cop or anyone else obtains something without a warrant (or the exclusionary rule), it's *inadmissible* as evidence.

Obviously, when the Fourth Amendment was proposed in 1789, people couldn't predict tech today, but the law was never updated to account for current tech. In the 70s, the Supreme Court ruled specifically so that the Fourth Amendment doesn't apply to the government *if you're buying the data from a corporation.* If you give *any data* to *any third-party*, the Supreme Court ruled that no one in the government needs a warrant to access that data. It was originally for banking or phone records; now, it's everything.

You see, while it's illegal for *the government* to break the Fourth Amendment, it isn't for corporations. Corporations can spy on you all they want! And then they can sell all of that data to anyone on the planet! And that includes the government which now has a legal loophole to avoid the Fourth Amendment by just directly buying data from data brokers or corporations that sell it. So Flock can put up cameras anywhere they want, create software that tracks each and every car and person, and then sell that to the government.

Maybe you gave some random app permissions to post notifications or to your texts or phone calls or contacts. Did you read that app's privacy policy? That app was free because you've just given it access to your entire call record, all of your texts, your app history, browsing history, location data, etc, which it's now selling to data brokers that in turn sell it to governments.

Not all companies just hand over data if a cop or the government asks. Some still demand to get a warrant before they hand anything over. But you've probably inadvertently leaked your entire life to plenty of various apps or services that sell it to data brokers who then sell it to anyone on the planet with cash.

Amy Boyer was stalked and murdered outside her job when a man bought her data. A Catholic newsletter bought data on Jeffrey Burrill that included Grindr usage, location data to gay bars, and outed him, causing him to resign immediately. Those people went on to join another Catholic group that spent millions buying data to target gay priests, to out them, to get them fired. And now the cops are using Flock. One Kansas police chief ran his ex's plates 164 times and her new boyfriend's plates 64 times. A Sheriff in Idaho ran his wife's plates 700 times in three months. None of this would be possible if the Fourth Amendment functioned properly.

John Oliver had a great data broker segment on Last Week Tonight where they were able to buy Congress members' data. Worth a watch: https://youtu.be/wqn3gR1WTcA

Legitimacy

The statement refers to the Declaration of Principles Concerning the Conduct of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), updated by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in mid-2026—its first major revision in over 15 years.

Key details from the updated protocol:

No Unauthorized Reply: Individual scientists, organizations, or nations must not transmit a response to extraterrestrial intelligence on their own. Any response is a global decision that requires international consultation, specifically through bodies like the United Nations.

Strict Verification: Before any public announcement, potential technosignatures or signals must undergo independent verification and peer review across multiple institutions.

Immediate Notification: Once verified, findings should be transparently shared with the global scientific community, the public, and international governance bodies.

None of us know why we are here, but our civilization is getting closer to knowing why

I am terrified. I completely see an iRobot situation coming in our future within a decade or two itself, not to mention the other completely plausible doomsday scenarios

I really hope that this is just how we look at this through our american lens or something... Are people in Norway or Iceland scared in the same way that we are or is it our culture being psychologically abused by our algorithms laced in with the fed? I really hope it is just us, and that there is at least somewhere that is able to be traveled to that is not doomed.

It might actually get to that if people don't do something soon, right? And I know I'm not going to do shit... So.. lol we are fucked! They got us man.

It really is crazy to think how different the world was even 15 years ago. I was in highschool, grew up watching Pokemon, building cities in my back yard with mud and hay, riding bikes around the neighborhood with the neighborhood friends every day, playing Super Smash Bros.. it was so pure. And slowly it has gotten worse year after year. Even before Covid things were still somewhat bright, remember Harambe? It was more pure man, and it wasn't even that long ago at all!!! Then even a couple of years ago too, before well frankly this election but I don't love or hate Trump because I think he is just a bulldog. All he is, is the guy they needed in charge to do some of the more crazy shit, and make it seem normal while it was happening, he's just not afraid of the egg on his face. But it isn't just Trump, there is an entire apparatus attached to him that I couldn't even possibly know or even actually understand either. I could be wrong, maybe things are simpler than that but I haven't believed either side was actually divided from one another behind closed doors in awhile.

It feels like things are declining quickly, monthly even.. Literally nothing seems happy. Everything is bleak. We are all collectively entirely overwhelmed. I really, really hope we all can get some relief soon. Sometimes I wonder if even our stress is done on purpose, the same way I stress my cacti and succulents to make them bloom or look prettier. The adversity actually helps the organism in the long run, and it is cruel at its center to deprive is of wellbeing on purpose. Or there are the rat Utopia experiments, perhaps we are veered from societal necrosis.

One thing is for sure, it is going to get weirder and weirder. None of us know why we are here, and I think in a lot of ways our civilization is getting closer to a point where we might know a little more than we did before about that. I think some big things are coming, not to get all prophetic, but you can feel it in the air. I feel like I am here to experience what is about to happen with my loved ones, together. Because remind me again why the fuck we are primate mammals sending data through metallic rocks and melted sand under long underground tubes to communicate with each other on magic light boxes while we are stuck to a huge rock flying around a violent nuclear fusion reactor, all being slowly decayed by the chaos that is entropy and time? I have seen a lot in my life, lots of crazy experiences with psychedelics, experiences where I almost died, experiencing impossible luck and serendipity.. I feel like all of this has a higher or spiritual purpose. Reddit people hate that stuff, but this is all just fascinating and incredible to witness.

You need to understand, this time is fundamentally different.

I am a historian and political scientist. You need to understand, this time is fundamentally different.

The existence and proliferation of drones, mass surveillance tech, and AI means that the cost of maintaining a surveillance state has been reduced by _ orders of magnitude_ . Moreover, since many of these items are controlled by non state actors (aka corporations ), there is no democratic means to stop them, especially since public preferences on US policy have nearly no effect of Congressional activity ) due almost entirely to money in politics)

Add to that the profound influence of intelligence community institutions from around the world, such as the CIA, Mossad, Russian intelligence, Chinese intelligence, etc, and even when you have a govt that is legitimately trying to do things right, they can be subverted. J Edgar Hoover literally blackmailed a Justice on the Supreme Court, used COINTELPRO to destroy the Civil Rights movement. Russia interferes with US elections, almost certainly is the reason we have Trump in office- and very likely has had Trump as an asset since the 1980s. Mossad , by the estimation of many including the current Vice President of the United States,is almost certainly behind the entire Epstein scandal , and backed his operations for decades to get leverage on leaders, politicians, and people in positions of influence across the world.

And this is just what we know about.

The result is a situation where even if people want to fight back, either through mass protests, general strikes, or by violent revolution, it becomes almost impossible to accomplish. The concentration of media means half a dozen corporations comtrol what most people see, and this can control perspective and the 'acceptable' window of discussion. Foreign, Intel, and corporate influences will have an outsized effect on what that window includes.

And even when there is something the overwhelming majority agree on and want, those levers of power just.... Refuse to do it. Witness the ongoing struggle to release the complete Epstein files.

The democratizing effect of the Internet becoming common is neutered by the mass of voices, all screaming for attention - and many of them lying or deceived or just plain crazy. The constant message of doom- either real, or false- bombards the senses, and renders us depressed and resigned to the horror.

All.of this on a planet quickly becoming less welcoming to life due to our own actions.

I made the choice to have no children decades ago. I have never been more thankful for that decision, nor more certain it was the right one, than in this past decade. I despair for our species. I despair for the kids, the youths, anyone under 50 really.

I am of the certain opinion that we - that is, _all of humanity _ -are all well and truly fucked, and at this point the only thing that might- _might_ - save us is a coronal mass ejection from the sun , big enough, strong enough, and lasting long enough to burn out every item of technology more advanced than a vacuum tube on Earth, and in our orbit .

Sure, a couple billion will die. But it would reset the parameters of the game to zero.

That's my 'good outcome'. You cannot imagine how terrible the 'bad outcome' I fear to come is.

Is the USA declining? Or is it social media brainwashing?

Just this week we have republicans saying Mitch McConnel is still alive and democrats asking for video evidence because that's how little they trust them.

Our president is starting wars without approval from congress or even a good reason. We've got people that don't even work for the government making decisions on foreign policy and national security.

Trump and other cabinet members are openly participating in insider trading and cryptocurrency schemes.

We have the richest man in the world that is also the first trillionaire that pays less of a percentage of his wealth in taxes than most Americans.

We've put blanket tariffs on most countries we trade with (except our enemies?), we've alienated most of our allies and renegotiated trade deals that overwhelmingly favored the US.

Our leaders tell us we can't afford healthcare for citizens but we can afford to bail out Argentina for billions and now help rebuild Iran for billions after spending billions bombing them.

IDK man, you tell me.

The COVID pandemic failed

The real objective of the coronavirus pandemic was to eliminate a significant portion of the older population ages 50+

The goal was to eliminate older people to fix the deficit. By eliminating the old and sick, entitlements like pension funds, social security, and Medicare/Medicaid won't have to be paid out and could be eliminated.

Now, the elites and Epstein class are looking for new ways to eliminate the old/poor/disabled class of people.

MAID in Canada is one method. Eliminating U SAID and other safety net programs is another way. Spraying cancer causing pesticides on food is a fourth method.

If none of these methods result in the desired result of reducing the population, then nuclear war is likely while the elites hide in their bunkers.

Ignore this false flag event

It begins... the backlash against Isreal is building momentum.

Tomorrow, the House will vote on an amendment to block the $3.3 billion in taxpayer funding we send to Israel's military.

CONGRESS believes past time for the US to end aid used to commit gocide in Gaza, kill innocents in Lebanon and beyond, and help drag us into war with Iran.

There will be a big event happening on US soil to drum up hate against "Iran". Don't fall for it.
