Previous Employer Not Updating Date of Exit (DOE) in EPFO – Will It Affect Joining?
I have contacted my previous employer's HR to update my Date of Exit (DOE) in my EPFO account. I have a joining with a new company in the coming weeks, and they have asked me to get the DOE updated.
Will it cause any issue if the Date of Exit is not updated before my joining? Can onboarding or salary be affected, or is this only a PF-related administrative issue?
Has anyone faced a similar situation?
