What to do with the money I have saved up while I go away for 6 months

I’m going into basic training for the military I already have a retirement fund (TSP) I have 200$ in VOO and 800$ to play with. Should I put the 800 I have into VOO or other stocks. I won’t be able to touch the money while I’m away. I just don’t really know what to do I haven’t invested before, should I put it all into VOO or divide it into other stocks?

Do people stay in SF for long periods of time?

I’m thinking about dropping my packet for SF in the future I’m in the guard at the moment and we have the option to the only issue is I’d be missing a year of college and could be even longer if I recycle (selection and the pipeline) and I’m already graduating late because Im missing my first year of college because of basic. The college program I’m in is 5 years long as well which would project me graduating at the age of 24. To add on to that college could also be realistically longer to finish if I get deployed and have to make up classes. Anyways my general question is do people make a career out of Special forces? I’m wondering this because I think that it would be more realistic for me to go to selection if it is something that I would be able to do long term. Also I should add If I made it through selection and the pipeline I think I would go active eventually as that’s what I originally wanted to do but I got into a college program that I really wanted to go to which is how I ended up in the guard.

Btw I know it sounds like I don’t have my life figured out at all and that’s because I don’t, I don’t want to sound ignorant with this question either so my apology’s if I do I genuinely just want to know about peoples experiences because I’m uninformed on this topic.

Pursuing A career in the fbi? What steps should I take to build my resume?

I’m interested in pursuing a career in the FBI, I am on track to become a mechanical engineer major at a state school.

Furthermore by the time I graduate I will have served 3 years in the National Guard as a paratrooper but I am thinking about dropping my packet for special forces which could mean a reenlistment but I haven’t decided yet

What steps should I take to pursue this career? I am worried about my medical history as I have adhd but haven’t been medicated since sophomore year of high school.

I should add I have a clean record as well.

FBI special agent?

I’m interested in a federal job such as FBI, for background info I’m on track for a mechanical engineering degree and furthermore by the time i graduate I will also have served 3 years as a paratrooper in the national guard and am debating dropping a packet for special forces.

I have no record, I never got introuble in school but i do have adhd which im worried will not allow me to be selected.

I have not taken meds since Sophmore year of highschool and I have been waivered for the military as well.

What steps should I take to keep on track if I want to aim for this job?

I smoked weed and now am stressed out I’m gonna fail my drug test

I had not smoked weed in about 2 months and I smoked for the first time (3 blunts) between me and my friend but I get drug tested in 15 days (urine test) Yes Ik it was a horrible idea but I have a lot going on rn and couldn’t really say no to it. I’m just kind of freaking out because im afraid it’s gonna be in my system and I need to pass this drug test because it’s for the military and I need to pass it. I just don’t know what to do now. Will it still be in my system by then I’m Litterly genuinely freaking out and don’t know what to do???
