I've been printing lots of Halo stuff.

The Phantom is huge, making the Banshee look very small in comparison.

Will be using it in a upcoming battlereport on my youtube.

For the new set, no one was expecting Horvath.

So having him include is a neat inclusion.

But...

Why Horvath?

Since it is just some random Spartan (Did you really read the book?) this could have been a perfect opportunity to add one of the Spartan ladies.

Nina Kovan or Bonita Stone are just as much random Spartans (from the same books), so why not them?

Tip the scale a wee bit. There are only two named ladies in Flashpoint right now, (Kat and Dare) and about 10 dudes (Chief, Atriox, Jega, Hyperius, Torvaus, Jorge, Emile, Carter, Jun, Horvath).

Hope we see them one day...

I found these custom rules for Bolt Action that allows you to use Halo models. I didn't make them, thay would be Nightovizard: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/300365/halo-bolt-action

Man, Bolt Action is like the perfect game system, it adapts so well to things like this.

The game was a blast.

We did a custom VIP Extraction mission, with one side (the defender) having to get a VIP to the edge of the board while the other attempts to prevent it.

The 'defender' started with falf their force in the center, surrounded by half the enemy 'attackers'. The reset of the force were in reserve, using Fog Of War.

I played Covenant, and had mostly regulars, plus a veteran HQ and two inexperienced grunt squads.

The unsc were split 50/50, with half being full inexperienced militia (this was an early war first contact scenario) and the rest being mostly regular.

Can't wait to play more.

The Brutes managed to successfully extract the VIP, in this case the colony worlds Governor.
