Where to socialize

Hi, im 26M, had my studies in bonn for 3 years and now coming to berlin to work. What are the places that i can meet young people or students to hang out and socialize?

In bonn there are erasmus events and international club events (which is made by the university)

Would be great to know some of similar places as well

What to do when you cant show up for your Termin at Ausländerbehörde?

I already had a termin for job seeking visa and showed all my documents and they told me a date to come back and get my card.

The issue is later at that date i cant be in germany so i cant go at that time. But i can go 2-3 days later.

The issue is normally they dont accept you to go to the Ausländerbehörde if you dont have an appointment.

What do i do? (For context i live in bonn and finished my studies)

Hamburg or Berlin? which one would you suggest

I'm 26M and a software engineer who has lived in Bonn for almost 3 years now. i speak b2 german (but prefer english to speak with my friends)

I got 2 offers from 2 companies, one is a software engineering agency in Hamburg, and the other one builds energy platforms.

Both offered in the range of 55-60k for my role.

which one would you suggest? which one fit maybe more

Berlin or Cologne

i know this question has already been asked a lot, but here is my situation:

Im a grad student from Bonn in computer science and i lived in Bonn for almost 3 years, speak fluent english and B2 german. im trying to find jobs in bonn/cologne/düsseldorf in english, but it's tough. so my question is should i start applying for berlin, or if i try for few more months i can get something here?

my preferences to be honest are having social people around me and basically having fun. i know cologne is a very beautiful city with beautiful people, but i dont know about berlin that much. I used to think it's very beautiful but now i think it's more chaotic.

besides i know the phrase: wherever you find the job is better, but still i want to know the major differences that can affect my decision. thanks

Im a software engineer, and thought it’s because of the AI bubble, but it sounds like it has so many other important factors. And apparently it’s not just about tech, but other industries.

little background info: living in bonn, came here to study my master in computer science, and now im finished with my studies and tryna find a job in software engineering in NRW (in english). since many of you may know, the job market sucks now. so i was thinking, like the old days, i directly go to the company and give my resume to the HR.

based on your knowledge about the system, is there any chance?

As a guy, every once in a while i see a very beautiful girl which i get amazed by her, but they never look the same as i look.

I always remember of the scene of godfather when michael sees that girl and the girl looks back and both stop for few seconds. But i believe this is only in movies.

Has it happened to u guys?
