I’m cooked for midterms
I literally can’t do any of the practice midterm and weekly quiz questions. But I get all the problem set questions completely to the point of being able to teach friends.
Why???

Their rebates are impossible to get. Even the receptionist at my clinic is at a loss and doesn’t know what was done wrong in my rebate application as acuvue just sends the generic rebate terms each time I inquire.
Moreover, I have a suspicion they make their website and technical services purposely laggy so people give up. I had to press the same submit button 5 times without changing anything on the form for it to work and had to call acuvue support for emails containing additional details on my case to be sent despite being supposedly automated.
I’m probably gonna be out 155 bucks as the company seems to barely if not ever pay out rebates. I’ve been dealing with this for hours already and can’t imagine doing this every time I get new contacts.
In the future, only buy from companies which apply rebates at checkout.
TLDR: acuvue are scumbags who won’t give you your rebate
I’m really interested in volunteering for a crisis hotline as in my mind it is frontlines work. However, I realized that it is very competitive to get in.
Is it worth taking safeTALK and ASIST beforehand and does crisis line volunteering actually help with med admissions?
safeTALK and ASIST cost ~$400 total and I don’t want to waste my parents money😂
I have a 2024 city pro with 4600kms.
Ive had the following unexpected service needed
-front suspension under warranty
-regen throttle under warranty
-front motor under warranty
-charging port out of pocket
-rear motor just died. Haven’t fixed yet
I love this thing. It’s so fun and gets so many looks. However it’s getting too much and it’s starting to feel like the bmw of scooters (in a bad way).
Should I switch to a max g3?
In December 2025 I started phone flipping. I got pretty consistent and made around 8000 dollars while still in school. However, now that it’s summer, my average profits have nearly halved to the point that I oftentimes make more at my day job with less headache.
Is this still profitable and what are some things I can do to continue to make this viable?
If possible, I would really appreciate if anyone can give me pointers to find more direct buyers.
Thanks!
Should I pick Isci or CAPs for pre med ubc? I have a 90% average first year. I want to have time for extracurriculars but am worried about not taking rigorous enough courses for med school in Isci.
Hi All,
I was so excited for first year uni to end so I can do everything I want to do in the summer. I wanted to work my job, work on my business, do boxing, hangout, all sorts of things.
However, recently, the business went on hold due to some issues and I can not get shifts at the pool due to it not actually being summer for most people yet. Moreover, my girlfriend went to summer school. I also found ways to successfully not scroll so I can't even do that with my time now. So much of my time was taken up by school that I have too much of it now.
Furthermore, I used to compete in track during summer in high school but retired to make more time for school.
I already cleaned my room and the family car as well as done a lot of housekeeping work.
The only thing I look forward to now is my boxing classes which happen 6 days a week and the occasional hangout with friends and family. What can I do to feel productive and not be at home for most of the day?
I got a year round offer for a quad in Brock Commons Tallwood and am trying to sublet. I posted it for 750 a month and feel like I did everything right (posted ads the day I got an offer on Marketplace and Facebook forums) but am getting no serious inquiries.
On April 25th, I had someone willing to stay for the entire 4 months. However, they just backed out this morning and I missed my advertising window.
Any tips would be appreciated!
