Replacing the flock camera
They just replaced the flock camera on Fernwood Glendale Rd. The one that’s looking at the daycare. I guess whoever takes it out next time should get rid of the pole too

I know at times people like to get on here and complain about shipping delays etc, but I want to do the exact opposite.
I ordered these yesterday. Yesterday after lunch. Now granted I’m in the same state as PSA but to receive them in less than 24 hours is something Amazon can’t even pull off these days. Bravo PSA
My sweet grass tom still thinks he’s just one of the chicks. This is his crew he was raised with, 7 French copper marans that I hatched and 2 pearl leg bars.
I had someone ask for this the other day when I posted the beginning of my Sabre build.
Top is PSA’s Sabre quad rail in “Burnt Bronze” and the bottom is the Geissle Mk16 rail on my URGI in their “DDC”.
I have an order that was supposed to be delivered to my work today (I don’t like leaving packages on my porch while I’m not home). It stated it was being shipped UPS, which is great. I get stuff almost weekly from them. However for some reason this order was split in half and part of it was sent USPS. Here’s the issue, we don’t receive USPS here, so they automatically returned to sender and did not contact me until just now that this was the case. Who do I need to contact to get this cluster straightened out?
Waiting on my other parts to show up but as always my PSA bought parts arrived quick as hell! You guys knocked it out of the park with these new Sabre sets, the fit and finish on the one (or several) I’ve bought so far have been outstanding!
This one is getting a 14.5 barrel, plan b muzzle, rifle speed gas system, lightweight BCG, and the furniture is all B5 (the only way) with a Sierra 5 stock and buffer system.
I haven’t made my mind up on the optic. I’m thinking of just mounting my Eflix on a Scalarworks riser. Keeping it all minimalist.
Now I’m definitely not condoning anyone to go out and destroy any of these flock cameras because they are most definitely an asset to our communities and would never ever be used to spy on us!
But let’s say if someone hooligan was to go out and do something as terrible as to destroy one of these innocent cameras, they better not have any sort of electronics of their own in any sort of vicinity to them when doing so or the camera would be able to detect that and ID them. And if they for some reason had to have their electronic devices on them, hopefully they weren’t stored in some sort of faraday bag, because then the camera couldn’t detect them either!!!!
Also they definitely shouldn’t go invest in a battery powered circular saw and a carbide tipped blade for sawing the pole down. As someone that works in the metal fabrication industry I would hope they don’t start buying up the Diablo or Lennox blades, those are the best and I don’t want to have a hard time finding them for projects at work! That’s just downright awful behavior!!!
Now let’s say someone was to cut one of these down, they have an onboard power supply thanks to the solar panel, as well as a gps tracker. So whoever was to destroy one of these better not sever all of the cables using a pair of insulated cables cutters (definitely not by Klein, those are the best) and break open the camera and crush the electronics. That’s would destroy any and all of the tracking ability that is installed and release any residual power keeping the device from updating its location.
Also on a completely different subject I was checking scrap prices today and carbon steel scrap is going for around $.10 to $.50 cents per pound only it if short steel. For example if you were to come across a pole that had been used to hold something up, you would want to cut it into pieces less than 3ft long to get the most money for it.
Also copper is currently $3.50-$5.50 per pound, and you get more the cleaner it is. So you don’t want any plastic coatings on the wires. Just some useful statistics I saw this morning.
Now again, I really wish people would just leave these poor cameras alone! They are very “valuable” assets that keep us safe!
Remember everyone, you can always trust our government ❤️
So I’m new to this hobby, I saw someone had a few of these alongside their rifle collection and I thought I might do the same eventually.
My honest question is why do these fetch such a premium? I’m not hating on them at all and they are really cool pieces, but the prices are always high. I just wanted to make sure that’s the norm?
Went by our local Rural King a few weeks ago to get feed and while we were there this little one and 3 others were in their “mismatched” or leftovers bin. All of them had the worst pasty butt I’ve ever seen so I couldn’t leave them to just pass without a chance.
Of the four chicks I’m pretty sure one is a lavender Orpington, one is a cream legbar, and the other is a jersey giant. But I have no idea what this one could be. At first she was just all chocolate fuzz, then the gold tips on her feathers came in, and now the feathery feet. Any insight on her will be greatly appreciated!
For someone who was a “warfighter” and never afraid of a conversation he sure is a little bitch.
