Does anyone know of a program that will replace American flags? The American and POW flags at 120 W. Canal are shredded. I don’t know who owns the property (I’m a recent transplant) and I called the legion but all they said was we have a box you can drop it off. If anyone has ideas I appreciate it.

I worked at an alpaca fiber mill and made felts that were dense, warm, and light and hydrophobic. I always wondered if they would make a good mat under your sleeping bag instead of packing an under quilt. Right now I am selling some carpet felt and it’s similar. it’s real light, bulkier but packs similar to an air mattress. I think I might have to keep some of this stuff and try it. I like having gear that is versatile, if need to this would keep me warm on the ground as well, doesn’t matter if it punctures or rips and the texture I think will keep your bag from slipping. Thoughts?
