Sold the car yesterday to Carvana. We are biking now in hot ass summer Florida. I have about 9.5 each way to work.

ALERT!!! I Had a Floridan Round Trip that Went Pretty Smooth
Apparently it is possible. I did the round trip from Tampa to Chicago. We were less than two hours late both directions. Yes, the AC broke down for two hours in my car before we got to DC on the way up but they fixed it in DC. Yes, we almost hit a car in Indiana too but the train did stop in time. Small delay to clear the tracks.
On top of that I took the Texas Eagle from St. Louis to Chicago and it showed up in St. Louis. an hour early so even ride even went pretty well.
The only thing that let's me know this wasn't a dream is my credit card statement from the trip.

My First and Last Time with these Seats
Trip report! Chicago to St Louis on 319 River Runner. Never ever ever again.

My god these are even worse than people have conveyed. As a person with back problems I damn near wanted to die by the time I got to St. Louis from Chicago. I found myself standing in the vestibule at the end because I couldn't deal with it anymore.
​
Other than the seats being an abomination it was a nice ride though. Not much for scenery other than crossing the river into St Louis unless you like farms and wind turbines.

Glad I'm taking the Texas Eagle back.

I am joining you all!!!!
I ordered a dual battery long range Expedition 2 this morning. Definitely plan to use it for utility stuff but more importantly for bikepacking and camping.
Anyways, excited.
