OnePlus 15 512GB at ₹96K — Worth it in India?

I’m considering the OnePlus 15 512GB because I want a balanced phone with strong performance/gaming and a good camera.

A few concerns:

Any throttling or heating during gaming?

How’s the camera overall?

With the recent OnePlus shutdown/restructuring news, is it safe to buy in India regarding updates, warranty, and service?

The 512GB version was around ₹86K earlier but is now ₹96K. Should I wait for a sale like BBD/Amazon Festival, or buy now?

At this price, is there a better alternative?

Lenovo Conservation Mode: Service center told me keeping it plugged in will damage the battery. Who's right?

Hi everyone,

I have a Lenovo LOQ laptop, and I've always used it with Conservation Mode enabled. The battery stays around 75–80%, and when I'm at my desk, I keep the charger plugged in almost all the time.

Recently, I took my laptop to a Lenovo service center for general service and also asked them to check my battery health. During the conversation, I explained how I use it.

The technician told me that my usage is wrong and said I should:

Charge the laptop up to 80%.

Unplug the charger.

Use the battery until it drops to around 20%.

Then plug it back in and repeat.

According to him, keeping the charger plugged in all the time—even with Conservation Mode enabled—will reduce the battery's lifespan.

This confused me because I thought the whole purpose of Conservation Mode was to reduce battery wear by limiting the charge to around 80%.

So, I'd like to ask people who know about laptop batteries:

Is it actually harmful to leave the charger connected all the time while Conservation Mode is enabled?

Does the laptop run directly from the adapter once it reaches the charge limit, or is it constantly charging the battery?

Which method is better for maximizing battery lifespan: staying plugged in with Conservation Mode, or repeatedly cycling between 20% and 80%?

I'd appreciate any technical explanations or experiences, especially from people who understand how Lenovo's battery management works.

Thanks!
