When I was in middle school, my dad cut down a monkey ball tree. My mom made me throw all the wood and monkey balls into the forest next to our yard. I actually felt it was unfair. I understood why my mom was physically unable to do it, as she was recovering from an injury. I was upset that my sister did not have to help, or why my dad couldn't help. I also struggled with manual tasks. It was overwhelming. Later I found out I have dyspraxia, which is difficulties with motor coordination. Also, my mom never understood my feelings. Was my mom wrong for making me do this one huge extra task by myself. Was it more of a communication issue?
