I couldn't find out online, just that it's closing. Does it have an official date that it'll close on? I wanna make sure I get a chance to go before it's gone
My doctor suggested cranberry supplements, so I decided to just go for d-mannose pills. What should I expect for side effects? Anything common/uncommon? Thanks :)
It is currently Thursday. Last Wednesday, I noticed UTI symptoms and started a course of Macrobid. I've taken it before with no issue. However, this time I got HORRIBLE dizziness and numbness. By Friday I was at the doctor's and instructed to stop taking it immediately. I was put on a three day course of Bactrim instead.
The bactrim made me feel a little icky, but not as bad as the Macrobid. I completed the course and tested negative for a UTI. the course was completed Monday morning. Since Monday, my side effect symptoms seem to have gotten worse instead of better - dizziness, light headed, feeling close to passing out, mild nausea, mild joint pain.
I am getting a blood test tomorrow morning to rule out electrolyte issues, but my doctor said that *dizziness is not a recognized Bactrim side effect* and seemed to be inferring that it was related to something else/just anxiety.
I don't think the dizziness is just anxiety. I feel pretty gross, even when laying down. I'm wondering if bactrim has ever given anyone else these symptoms? And if they went away with time? Thank you.
