I’m making this post to warn others and hopefully prevent anyone else from losing money to this person.
On 14th July, I agreed to buy a gaming PC from a seller named Kinjal Chowdhary after speaking to him on WhatsApp. He shared his Aadhaar card, PAN card, address and other personal details, which made him appear genuine.
Our agreement was simple:
I would pay ₹40,000 upfront.
The remaining ₹10,000 would be paid only on delivery.
After receiving ₹40,000, he told me he had dispatched the PC. On 15th July, he sent me what he claimed was a photo of the parcel being handed over to the courier. Believing him, I transferred the remaining ₹10,000.
The PC was supposed to be delivered on 17th July.
It never arrived.
Since then:
No PC has been delivered.
No refund has been made.
He keeps giving excuses or avoiding the issue altogether.
When I confronted him, he literally told me to “go legal” and said “Will answer in court.” At one point, he also said he would refund my money only if I deleted my Reddit post, which I refused to do.
I have now filed an FIR and am also pursuing other legal remedies.
While looking into this further, I discovered that other people have also alleged that they were scammed by the same person, and he still appears to be trying to sell PCs online.
