I'm having trouble loading a downloaded app, which is actually a game build I made in Ren'Py. The issue that's happening is the app appears on the activity monitor/ dock/ force quit list for a split second, then disappears. The game loads in the engine and the built app also opens no problem (so I don't think this is an issue with Ren'Py) but when I upload the build to dropbox and google drive, and redownload to test it, it refuses to open.

I've moved the app from the downloads folder to applications, but this didn't work. I did system settings -> Privacy & Security -> "Open Anyway" -> Entered password, but this didn't work. I updated Sequoia to 15.7. and restarted – that didn't work. I created a new profile that disabled Gatekeeper but that didn't work. I tried ran sudo spctl --master-disable in terminal and ticked "Anywhere" under "Allow apps downloaded from." – that didn't work. I created multiple builds in different Ren'Py versions, renamed the app, and tried both dropbox and google drive but that didn't work.

I really hope someone can help! I want to send the app to an event and if I can't confirm it's working then it may not get selected.

EDIT: I tried downloading another Ren'Py game (not one I made) and I was able to get it working with system settings -> Privacy & Security -> "Open Anyway" -> Entered password ...so it appears to be a problem with my app specifically...even though the build loads no problem unless it is uploaded + downloaded.
