Hi everyone! I got a job opportunity, but it would require me to travel about a mile or so on foot off campus. I'd be getting off after dark, so, is the area around generally safe at night, or should I not take this opportunity?

Their used to be this PSA that aired on Nick and would scare me where a group of people went into this building and one by one they were taken into rooms and tortured. There is only one guy who survives and as he is escaping, he passes by the rooms his friends are being tortured, and you can see them through the windows of the doors. It ended with a screen that said something along the lines of "Only 1/5 people survive smoking." Any help to find is appreciated.
