Does anyone else get triggered by certain ads

Okay this might sound stupid but I swear some ads are designed to get you thinking about porn. Like I'll be browsing Reddit completely clean for days right. Then an ad for some dating app pops up. Or a clothing ad with models in bikinis. And boom it's like a switch flips in my head. All that progress feels like it's going down the drain just from an ad. It's so frustrating. Anyone else deal with this or am I just overthinking it

Is it okay to lie about why I left my last job?

So my previous employer was a complete nightmare. Toxic environment micromanagement the works. I ended up quitting without another job lined up just to save my sanity. Now I'm in interviews and they always ask why I left. I don't want to badmouth my old boss obviously. But saying I quit because it was bad sounds unprofessional. Should I just make up a story like I moved or something?

My NK keeps asking me if Im pregnant

Okay nannies I need some advice. I have an NK 5F who is generally a sweetheart. But for the past week she has been OBSESSED with asking me if I'm pregnant. Every single day. Multiple times a day.

It started last Tuesday. We were playing dress up and she said my tummy looked big. I just laughed it off and said it was my lunch. Then later that day she asked if there was a baby in my tummy. I told her no definitely not. I thought that was the end of it.

But it wasn't. The next day she asked again. And the day after that. And today. I'm not pregnant. I have gained a little weight recently but nothing crazy. I'm pretty self conscious about it already so this is really getting to me.

Her MB is due with her second baby in about three weeks so I know where it's coming from. She's obviously excited about a new sibling and very aware of her mom's growing belly. She even asked MB if I was pregnant yesterday in front of me which was super awkward. MB just said 'Oh no honey Nanny isn't pregnant' and smiled at me but I could feel my face getting red.

How do I gently get her to stop asking? I've tried just saying no. I've tried changing the subject. I've tried explaining that people's tummies can look different for lots of reasons. Nothing is sticking. Any tips for getting a 5 year old to drop a topic like this?

Is parallel motion bad and why

I was told in theory class that parallel fifths and octaves are not allowed. But I hear them all the time in modern music. Is it just a classical music thing or am I missing something bigger here

Where are all the decent public restrooms in this city?

Seriously I’m losing my mind. Every time I’m out and about whether it’s walking through midtown or just chilling in the village I constantly have to pee. And it feels like there’s literally nowhere to go. Starbucks and other coffee shops have locked restrooms you need a code for. Most restaurants glare at you if you ask to use theirs without buying something.

I don’t need anything fancy. Just a clean-ish stall and working toilet paper. Is that too much to ask? I feel like I spend half my life planning my day around where I can possibly relieve myself. Am I missing some secret network of public bathrooms? Please help a brother out.
