Stem Score??

I always vowed that I would never be one of those who was like “guys I got a 35 should I retake?” but alas (albeit I feel like mine is a genuine question). I got composite 34 on my school day test, with a breakdown of (sorry I don’t have a picture; I had to call myACT b/c the school doesn’t report scores until June and I want to start looking at schools)
35 math
33 reading
34 english
28 science
12 writing (lowkey my biggest flex is that I consider myself a decent writer)

I know that science doesn’t contribute to composite, but I want to enter into a STEM field, and, with respect to my other scores, I feel like it would look better if science were equal to the rest. Thoughts???

Dentist???

Does anyone else have (what I’ve always deemed it as) an irrational fear of the dentist?? I
In the literal months leading up my appointment, I find myself counting down the days in absolute dread, which is something I’ve been doing for as long as I can remember. My appointment is this week, and since like March whenever I have something big coming up, I always think of it in respect to when my appointment is. For instance, my AP test was 17 days before my appointment, and my physics final is 12 days after. I distinctly remember that my big end of the year 8th grade field trip was 4 days after my appointment that year. The only rationale I’ve been able to muster is that I absolutely despise the feeling and taste of people working in my mouth. I’ve always chalked up the whole counting down the days thing to OCD , but in light of the ARFID diagnosis, I’m wondering if there is a correlation.

AI and group projects??

my school, like many other highschools has been at at war with students using AI on literally everything. Math homework? Students use AI. Spanish project? Students use AI. A freaking gym presentation (yeah my school’s strange)? Students use AI. For that reason, at the beginning of every project, presentation, hw assignment, without fail, we get the same spiel about not using AI. Quite frankly, I’ve never cared about my peers using AI. If they wanna risk their grades, they can have fun with that.
This issue has been most prevalent in English class, and the entire English department is so fed up with getting AI slop. Recently, we were assigned a book report for our final project to be completed in small groups. It is to be graded as two parts: the content of the presentation (whole group gets the same grade) and the individual speaking part. We allocated different parts to be completed by different people, with one girl and I completing arguably the two most difficult tasks. The others simply has to give their thoughts on the book and rate it (like a book review of sorts). This other girl AI’d this entire damn review and it is so freaking obvious. Case in point: “enlightening narrative with empathy that provides insights with nuanced storytelling and vivid characters” (this is a normal not honours or AP class). This was one of at least 8 bullet points all worded with this technical literary jargon of no real substance. Needless to say, it’s crystal clear. How do I broach this and to whom? I talked briefly with the girl actually doing work, and we see eye to eye that this is very obviously AI, but don’t know what to do. Do we go straight to the teacher and snitch? Do we let her present her AI slop and pray the teacher catches on and only dings her?? Do we confront her directly about how she’s risking all of our grades?? I’m stumped so I figured I would consult the lovely people of Reddit. Thanks in advance!
