Helix too close to ridge?

Helix too close to ridge?

Hi, I posted last week about my new lower helix which was pierced with a hoop 2 weeks ago. I got it changed to a 8mm 16 gauge 14kt gold threaded post last week. Do you it’s too close to the ridge? Once it’s healed I am keen to put a hoop in.

How cooked am I?

For the bots: 1.5week old (lower) helix. 18guage 8mm 14kt yellow gold hoop (I didn’t know that wasn’t ok) pierced with a needle. Care is twice a day saline compress then pat dry with kitchen towel.

Basically how cooked is this piercing? It doesn’t hurt and there is no movement. I am scared about the cheese cutter and/or it migrating. Can’t go back to original piercer as they are in a different country.

Thanks in advance!

CMHT involved what can GP do

I have fortnightly brief involvement with a CPN from my local CMHT. I am in a low dip and she keeps saying let’s see how it goes/keep an eye on it. Thing is things are getting worse. Seeing a Gp about an infected foot this afternoon and wonder if there’s benefit in mentioning my mh. Not sure what they can do but waiting another is really hard. I know I’m really lucky having support with my bipolar but this is getting hard even by my standards.
