Mimi had to go to urgent care tonight.

Mimi had to go to urgent care today for extremely impacted anal glands. She got a finger in the butt, lots of snuggles, pain meds, and probiotics. I’m glad all is now well and we are happily back home!

Blood in cats stool

My cat has been dragging her butt on the ground lately and I haven’t thought much of it. But last night we noticed a small amount of blood on the rug. I immediately went to her litter box and saw she had some formed and some mucus with blood and diarrhea in her box. She also has stage 1 kidney disease. Eats science diet early support dry food for kidneys and eats fancy feast pate in all different flavors for wet. And get freeze dried chicken pieces as a treat here and there. She is indoors only but did run out the other day and ate some grass before we caught her. She is eating and drinking like normal and as of now we haven’t noticed a change in behavior either. Just the blood. I’m still paying off the $2500 emergency vet bill from finding out she has kidney disease. I will take her to the ER again if needed but can this wait until her vets office opens Monday? And what could this possibly indicate?

I recently sat up a ten gallon to transfer my Betta into once cycled. I’d like easy care, no CO2, and I keep my full spectrum light on 6 hours a day but there’s plenty of natural lighting as well. I’d like more ground coverage and nice big tall plants for him to swim thru. The moss currently in there will be taken out today, it isn’t doing great, that one came from petsmart of course. I’ve looked online and I just prefer hearing from actual people. Thanks!

My original very old ten gallon tank for my betta has sprung a leak. Money is tight so I had to get a top fin tank on sale at petsmart. Well I got home and noticed the sides don’t meet and have some hang off and one side isn’t even an even ledge. Should I exchange or is this ok?
