BI-RADS 4A after mammogram/ultrasound — palpable 3.6 cm lump, biopsy tomorrow, trying not to panic

My wife (early 40s) recently found a palpable lump in her left breast and had a mammogram + ultrasound done. The report came back BI-RADS 4A (low suspicion), and she is scheduled for an ultrasound-guided core biopsy tomorrow.

We are obviously anxious and trying not to catastrophize while waiting, so I wanted to ask whether anyone here has had a similar BI-RADS 4A result and what the outcome ended up being.

Some details from the report:

- Heterogeneously dense breasts
- Left breast lesion at 4:00 position measuring approximately 3.6 x 1.3 x 2.6 cm
- Described as predominantly hypoechoic with some benign features, but also “edge shadow” and mild perilesional vascularity
- No suspicious microcalcifications
- No architectural distortion
- No suspicious axillary lymph nodes seen
- Multiple additional small bilateral nodules/cysts described as likely benign

The radiologist categorized it as BI-RADS 4A and recommended biopsy.

She also started HRT about 2 months ago, so we’re wondering whether hormonal changes could potentially have made an existing benign lesion more noticeable.

If anyone has had a similar BI-RADS 4A experience (benign or malignant), especially with a larger palpable lump but otherwise reassuring imaging features, we’d really appreciate hearing how things turned out and what the next steps were.

Hi everyone — we’re planning our first trip to Spain and would really appreciate any feedback on our draft itinerary.

We arrive in Madrid on 25 August and depart from Madrid on 15 September, so we have a total of 21 nights.

A few things about our travel style:
- We prefer slower-paced travel with longer stays rather than constantly moving around.
- We’re not especially interested in nightlife, drinking, or heavily crowded tourist areas.
- We’re trying to avoid the worst of the late-August heat, so we thought starting in the north made sense.
- We’re considering Valencia as a possible future base, so we intentionally want to spend more time there.
- We’re happy to take flights domestically if it avoids exhausting 5–6 hour train journeys.

Current plan:

- Madrid – 2 nights
- San Sebastián – 2 nights
- Bilbao – 3 nights
- Valencia – 7 nights
- Córdoba – 2 nights
- Cuenca – 2 nights
- Madrid – 3 nights

A few specific questions:

  1. Does this route flow logically?
  2. Are we underestimating or overestimating time in any of these places?
  3. Is Córdoba still enjoyable in mid-September from a heat perspective?
  4. Any thoughts on Cuenca as a quieter final stop before Madrid?

Thanks so much for any advice — especially from people who prefer calmer, slower travel rather than trying to see everything.

Hi all,
I’m looking at a Business Class itinerary with Etihad and wanted to sanity check the product on the A321neo.
Specifically:
EY141 (AUH → Zurich)

EY142 (Zurich → AUH)

Google Flights shows “lie-flat seat”, but I know that can sometimes be misleading for narrow-body aircraft.
Can anyone confirm:
Is this a true fully flat bed, or more of a recliner / angled-flat seat?

What’s the actual layout (2-2? 1-1?)

How comfortable is it for a ~6–7 hour flight, especially overnight?

I’m comparing this against Emirates A380 Business Class, so trying to understand how big the difference really is.
Appreciate any firsthand experience or recent info 👍

Hey everyone, I’m planning a catch up with a mate next Sunday afternoon for a few beers and a feed. Can anyone recommend a good pub that has a lively atmosphere, good service and food, and reasonable prices. Nothing too small and dingy. Thanks!
