I love, love, love my Empires and these Margaux dupes, but I hate how the handles flop when you wear them crossbody or on the shoulder (especially the Empire 48). I couldn’t find any of these snap-on handle keepers that were big enough, so I finally just ordered the stuff to make my own. Way easier than I thought it would be.
Found this cute little witch Pez dispenser and thought I’d see how they work as charms. Kinda into it.
Way bigger than I need, but every time I carry this 48 I’m immediately reminded of why I bought it.
That new Spiderman movie is really good. Felt like an appropriate pairing for these vintage bendy guys.

Did I need to spend as much as I did on this Hulk 2099 figure? Yes. Yes I did. (In my defense, I saw him Friday and extended the cooldown period to Wednesday before I cracked.)
Went to the medieval faire last weekend and picked up this chonky little monster from one of the people selling their homemade leather goods. It’s supposed to be worn on a belt, but I used the chain from my Coach Cassie 19 and turned it into a crossbody. Surprisingly spacious! That’s my kindle and all my essentials and there’s still a ton of room.
Because I just use the same ones over and over. Been coming back to the Empire 40 a bunch this summer. I’ve been keeping the sides cinched, and I forgot how much you can cram in here when you loosen them up.
Always on the lookout for a good green bag. The base board in this is removable, so the slouch is fantastic when I carry it.

I don’t know if the actual Margaux bags do this, but one of the things I love most about these dupes is how the leather breaks in. They keep their shape when there’s stuff in them, but they just melt when they’re empty. (Also the shoulder strap is super convenient. Took me a minute to warm up to that, though.)
This might be my favorite soundtrack (and it’s definitely one of my favorite movies).
