My Tooned Collection

Here is my Tooned collection so far. I'm sure there are a bunch I'm missing, but, I have yet to find a good checklist. If anyone comes across one, please let me know.

This made me wish I drank tea.

How freakin cute is this tea set?!?!? I should have just bought it. It would have made an amazing gift. Duh!

(2) PS4's Untested for $10!

I got 2 untested PS4's (non Pro models) for $10 each at my local Humane Society Thrift Store. Then they were doing 50% off the entire store so I got them both for $10!

The first one needed to have the drive reinitialized and it was good. The second one was missing a hard drive and I had an exact oem hard drive in my hard drive bin. Put it in, updated off a flash drive, and now there are 2. Now, what to do them? 🤔

Shelves for LEGO Speed Champions

The black base is some 1/4" plywood I recovered from an old project. The lights are $5 light kits from Walmart. The light up shelves are from a screen from a recycled plasma TV.

Cleaning heavy mineral buildup.

I have a 18x20x20 tank that I found and need to use as a bioactive terrarium. It's in good shape, other than some horrible mineral buildup. I've sprayed and scrubbed it 4-5 times using a 50-50 water-vinegar mix. I was able to remove a significant amount of the buildup but I've seemed to reach a plateau. There is a film that just doesn't want to leave. I'm going to go over it with a razor but I wanted to see if anyone knew of something that "worked like a charm", so to say, to get this mineral residue off the glass.

Here's a little entertaining backstory on why I need to build this terrarium. To start, I live in Florida, I'm not from Florida, I just live here. All the crazy shit you hear about is totally true. So, I get a call from my sister two days ago and she's at the Dollar General. Apparently, they found an adult Ball Python in the store. It's a stand alone store so no pet store next door. I've kept reptiles my whole life so I was called to take care of it. It's in an adequate enclosure right now but this tank would be better. The snake is very cool with being handled, has no scars, wounds, or ticks. The coolest part is my niece got really comfortable with it and wants to keep it. Regardless, this is par for life down here in FL.

I'm good with whatever consenting adults want to do, I'm just glad this was behind the counter. Lol

I hope this is the right sub for this. These are my most recent recovered office chairs. I found all the chairs at the end of someone's driveway on trash day. So, $0 cost for the chairs. I wish I had taken before photos but posting was an afterthought. All the chairs have complete functionality, their foux leather covering, on the other hand, appeared to have leprosy. So after some vacuuming, sewing, and staplegunning here is the result. There's probably around $20 in fabric. Just to use around the house.

I don't come across anime too often so seeing these was pretty awesome! That and they were all 60% off! I picked up the Cowboy Bebop and was able to hook up a buddy with Space Dandy and Hellsing.
