Stolica nas je ispala 40€ cca, ali ne za dan svadbe, nego za 10 dana opasno dobrih svatova. Pričam o tradicionalnim slavonskim svatovima gdje sve pripremaš sam, odnosno ti, žena, obitelj i 10 frendova koji obavezno uzimaju godišnji. 2000 boca žuje se popilo tokom priprema i na dan svadbe (tako je pisalo na računu od dobavljača koji mi je dovozio piće svih 10 dana), a o ostalim pićima da ne pričam (domaca/strana žestica, još tri vrste piva, vino, sokovi…). Na samoj svadbi je bilo 254 ljudi u sali koju sam rentao za 800€ u kojoj sam imao samo njihove stolove i stolice. Sve ostalo sami tražili. Kad zbrojim apsolutno sve (vjenčanica, odijelo, cvijeće, vrhunska kuharica i pomoćnice, konobari, predobar bend, rasvjeta…) ispalo je nešto više od 10K€. Žena i ja smo opasnu lovu dobili u kuvertama tako da nam se jaaaaako isplatilo zasukati rukave tih 10 dana i kvalitetno počastiti svoju ekipu.

Radim u kafiću koji izbaci 600+ kava dnevno. Znači, vidio sam sve. Ljude koji ne znaju razliku između espressa i produžene, ljude koji naruče “espresso, ali da skinem pjenicu odozgo jer ne žele kofein”, i naravno elitu koja ne pije mlijeko nego životnu filozofiju u tetrapaku.

U kojem trenutku smo odlučili da obična kava više nije dovoljna bez 17 dodatnih pitanja? “Koje mlijeko imate?” Imamo mlijeko. Kravlje iz vimena. “A imate zobeno, bademovo, sojino, kokosovo…?”

Naravno da imamo.

Jer ako nemaš bar 4 vrste biljnih napitaka, automatski si zapeo u srednjem vijeku i nisi kul mjesto za izaći s frendicama.

Najbolji dio? Taj ritual. To nije narudžba, to je TED Talk. “Ja bih latte, ali sa zobenim, ali ne bilo kojim zobenim nego onim koji se pjeni, ali ne previše, i da nije prevruće, i da nema aftertaste.”

Buraz (tj. ženo, jer je u 99.8% slučajeva žena koja naručuje takvu kavu), to je i dalje voda + zob. Smiri se.

I onda cijena. Ljudi bez problema daju više para za nešto što ima okus kao da je netko ostavio zobene pahuljice u vodi preko noći i rekao “evo, premium verzija”. U kafiću u kojem radim je kava s biljnim mlijekom bolesno skupa. Ne zato što je biljno mlijeko puno skuplje od kravljeg, nego jer želimo vidjeti dokle to ide. Koliko su ti ljudi jebeno tupavi i sjebani u glavi da su, iako nemaju nikakvih problema s probavom i tamane meso najnormalnije, odlučili piti alternativu kravljem mlijeku čisto da budu u trendu i da zabriju da su viša vrsta. Instać kul curke.

Nemam ništa protiv da ljudi piju što žele. Stvarno. Kužim čak i ljude koji piju Matchu. Ali količina ozbiljnosti oko biljnog mlijeka… kao da ne radimo kavu nego operaciju na otvorenom srcu. Zašto u glavama postajemo ameri? Zar nije ljepša ona naša hrvatska kafić kultura, nego i to moramo zasrat?
