This may be a “no duh” moment, but isn’t this an optimal use of auto turrets for external base defense?
Note: the red lines represent chain link walls. I placed two, just for illustration. There would be multiple auto turret stations circling the base.
I ask, because I haven’t seen it used a lot. I’m trying to figure out if it has any weaknesses.
So I built a pretty cool base, and imbedded my TC deep in the middle with a sleeping bag.
Checked on it this morning, and someone blew thru my 7 armored doors and claimed it for their own. They rebuilt doors back.
BUT, my TC was not found, and I can still get into the middle. How was he able to build walls back? I guess it was big enough for him to build his own TC (don’t think it was THAT big).
Any advice on how to get it back?
Can you load a drone with explosives in the console version of Rust? I’ve seen stuff online about that, but don’t see an option to do that.
So I’m on an “official” vanilla monthly server, which supposedly doesn’t wipe blue prints so I worked diligently last month collecting blueprints to be a leg up this month.
Well, they were all wiped. A guy I talked to said that yeah, they wipe them “sometimes” but not every wipe.
So what’s the deal? What’s the schedule on these official monthly servers?
So what’s the trick with selling compost at the outpost? I can only sell around 30 at a time. It takes FOREVER. Is there a trick, or do I really just have to stand there for hours?!?
Any thoughts on why my outdoor planters boxes all dissapeared within my compound? They were all outside, on wood foundations, getting watered. They were all in range of my TC.
Two of my sprinkler heads also disappeared. So weird.
I mean, I guess someone could have snuck over my walls to take out empty planter boxes and nothing else, but there’s improbable.
Thought on what could have happened?
If you’re base is a couple hundred yards from a water source, what’s the strategy to pump water to it? The hose can only stretch 30 units or so.
My family of 4 will be visiting Boston in a few weeks. I’ve been several times, but the others haven’t.
We obviously want to walk the Freedom Trail, but was thinking about using a tour guide.
Does anyone have suggestions on quality, but reasonably priced tour guide options?
