I finished my brothers sweater in mini size ✌🏼☺️

I made my brother his favorite sweater (that I thrifted for him years back) in mini size, because he and his wife are having a baby soon.
I had to choose colors and make the charts based off a photo, but I think it turned out really good :)
He was so happy and surprised 💛
Probably one of my favorite projects I’ve made in my knitting life!

Some fresh pages

The first 4 slides are pages my daughter (4) did. The second slide is a puzzle, where you have to help the bee in the bottom corner find its way to the flower and now to the thunderstorm ✌🏼

My brothers favorite sweater for his baby

I’m knitting my brothers favorite sweater (that I bought for him years ago and have mended quite some times) in a mini size, because he and his wife are having a baby this autumn.
Sometimes I forget that we (Fiber artists) can just make something without a specific pattern.
For this sweater, I’m using the Holger Baby set sweater pattern (have made it before) but I’m doing the pattern that’s on my brothers sweater. The hardest part was the top of the sweater, lots of colorwork on the purl side 🫠🌚
But I think it’s coming along well and I think my colors are alright (the sweater is made from Shetland wool so I did go with the same type of wool for the mini version).

Happy weekend and happy knitting!

A school of anchovies and shrimp

Do you have knitted things as art? I’d love to sea (pun intended 😅✌🏼)

My favorite thing to knit for babies ☺️

I love knitting these boots (by Jord.clothing) and this hat is also so cute (petite knit).
I’ve made so many of each - they are quite a fast knit and the boots are also cute without ears and embroidery (although the 🐻 version is my favorite 🥰)

Finished my ‘second hand’ sweater

I used four strands at a time (3 beige/white/undyed and one coloured). 90% of the wool was bought second hand (some is also unraveled yarn from second hand items) and the rest were scraps from my stash. So knitters math = almost free sweater 😎😂
The pattern is the Sonja sweater by petite knit. I’ve mostly knit raglan sweaters, but lately I reeeeeally wanted an oversized/boxy sweater :)

Almost everything is from Isager (danish brand). But also Sandnes, Lang Yarns and Rauma.
Paid 30€, can’t wait to make something!
