Are the pages supposed to sit like this? With the vertical lines? It's a brand new book.

The other ones don't look like this, they sit flush.

No one believes me and I don't know what to do.

I would love to make a long list of all the reasons I have ME/CFS but I had gradual onset I believe due to chronic abuse and being autistic.

I experience PEMS and lost functionality little by little over 3 years.

I've quite literally seen every kind of specialist, psychiatrist, naturalpaths, Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I've tried psych meds, even TMS (magnetic brain zapping)..

I've done extensive therapy.

I really thought I had something horribly wrong with me like end stage organ disease, cancer, serious thyroid issues, or serious nutrient absorption issues etc.

No one believes me in my family, my husband especially..

I've been forced to keep doing as much as I can and then my abilities decline. At this point I'm mostly housebound I can manage doing chores around the house with aggressive pacing, but little else. Example, I can do laundry but not also shower.

If i shower it's all I can manage that day

I can go grocery shopping but I need to do nothing the day before or after.

More intense activities I can be left in bed for a week.

What do I do? No one believes me.

I've lost all of my hobbies, most of my friends, my ability to work, and all of my hopes and dreams I once had for myself.

Lastly I've gotten no sympathy, no positive attention, no support, literally nothing.. So accusations of me just not trying hard enough or making it up are hilarious, since nothing positive has come out of this for me.

Why do i feel like climbing roses are popular online but not in real life?

I've literally never found a climbing rose at one of our local nurseries or hardware stores. It's always Teas, Floribunda, Grandiflora.

I walk around a lot, I've never seen a climbing rose in anyone's yard.

A lot of my neighbors have roses, no one has any climbing roses.

I love them personally and I have 3. I special ordered mine online and they were really expensive but I think they're worth it.

How come they are never irl?

Would I be crazy to bring one of these to the beach?

I don't really ever plan to re-sell, but I do want my books to stay in good condition and last a long time.

I live in Hawaii and reading at the beach is kind of my jam, I have a very small hale/cottage and so owning doubles of books is NOT in the cards for me.

I bring every other book to the beach, i feel like it's never ruined them or harmed them.

But for some reason, I'm scared to bring one of these to the beach like it will disintegrate or something 😭. I do buy my books to read, if anything these are better made than the ones I get at B&N, so they should be fine?

Any advice? Should I do it?

(i have a kindle & library card so I usually just use Libby to have a portable version and leave the books for home reading, but sometimes Libby is like an 8 week wait and I go through books quickly so it doesn't always work for me... And I do refuse to buy Amazon books I have my kindle exclusively for libby)

Edit: I'm also VERY new to having special edition books and only have a handful, so I'm not used to the mentality that books aren't meant to be taken with me anywhere and I'm also not used to spending this much on a book. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, I'm genuinely wondering if it would hurt them.

Are there any Veganic flower gardeners/farmers on here?

I know veganic farming is quite the niche, even more so for cutflowers, but I almost never see it talked about for cut flower growing.

Broken Binding 4-6 are coming soon (just incase anyone else is waiting for them and not on IG) They posted this announcement today.

No date listed yet, but an announcement for the announcement!

How long do pre-orders usually take to ship?

I want to pre-order Hyperion Cantos. I've never ordered anything from BB besides Malazan and those came in like 10 days (to Hawaii at that).

How long until pre-orders usually ship?

This girl is a volunteer, self-pollinated from seed in a bed I never even planted dahlias before 😍. She's not fully open but I'm literally too excited not to share.

So this is probably the coolest Dahlia I've frown from seed, I'm excited to see what she will look like in a few days because she is just beginning to open. This is a volunteer/self pollinated dahlia. The first four photos are of the same flower, and the next photos are some bonus of my other volunteer dahlias from seeds.

Okay the pictures came in out of order, but the one I'm showing off is the pastel pinky one. I love the apricot one so much too even if it's simple.
