Hey r/guitar,

​I've been hacking away at a cheap body to realize a design idea I had, and I’m looking for some unbiased opinions from strangers before I go further.

​Keep in mind this is in a very raw, "rough draft" state right now. My current to-do list includes:

​Widening and sharpening the cutouts in the horns.

​Aggressive sanding to smooth everything out.

​Major back-contouring for better upper-fret access and overall ergonomics.

​Stripping all the paint off the back completely.

​One thing I'm really undecided on is the paint. Should I keep the original blue top but leave the raw wood exposed on the new bevels/cutouts (with a clear coat for protection)? Or should I just sand the whole thing down and start over with a completely new paint job?

​What do you guys think of the overall shape and direction? Be honest!

But most importantly... do you dig this extreme, visionary design?

Picked up this entire lot on local sell for 150 bucks.

​Came with the Ibanez RGA72QM, a Cordoba classical guitar, Line 6 Spider IV 30 with the FBV foot controller, and gig bags. The Ibanez plays insanely well after a cleanup and a fast setup.

​Definitely my best gear find of the year!

Buona lettura... vorrei sapere cosa ne pensate e se è una cosa che capita di frequente. Come consigliate di muovermi a riguardo? Ribadisco che il venditore non ha nessuna colpa poiché il pacco aveva il peso corretto all'invio, quindi è stato successivamente aperto e sottratto da parte di una persona nel circolo dhl. Fà ridere che in tutto ciò si trattasse di una spedizione del express "fragile" proprio per siceverla nei 2-4 giorni dichiarati. Non pensavo che "express" significasse "regalo per il corriere".

E beh ovviamente fà altrettanto ridere che Mohamed sia ancora convinto che prima o poi il pacco mi arrivi... boh magari ci trovo dentro un biglietto con tanto di ringraziamento per la chitarra nuova da parte di chi se l'è imboscata.

After 2 days of trying i finally did it. Love those 3 guys found by sos, one of the Best teamwork i have ever had in this game. In solo i ran out of time like 5 differenti times the exact moment when the skull icon pop on arkveld. This time the timer stopped at 31 min. Unbeliavable.
