This would be my future lineup for Shenmue if I was Sega and I would want to announce all future projects for the franchise all-in-one go
I actually got 100% on the first part of the new Suka Pass Quiz and took me so many tries and redo's, but I was able to finally do it and I'm fully proud of myself.
How Sega feels about Shenmue
I wonder if this is Sega's actual reaction to a Shenmue IV mention.
Look what I got in the Japanese Dreamcast version of Shenmue 2. These are apparently promo discs for the console version of Virtua Fighter 4.
This interview with Jason DeMarco (the executive producer for the Shenmue anime) that was done by Shenmue Dojo in July of 2022 really sheds light into how the anime came about, and the circumstances surrounding it's cancellation
I'm genuinely shocked that the Shenmue anime is still on Crunchyroll. Usually, they remove an anime if it's not popular or if it has no motion, but I'll be damned.
This is also my Crunchyroll wishlist where I only have the Shenmue anime as the only thing I watch on Crunchyroll.
What I would have the cover of the potential Switch 2 port of Shenmue be if they were up to me
The day that Shenmue is ever released on the Switch 2, I would want this to be the actual cover of the game on the Switch 2 because it just looks like a really fitting poster and it tells you everything you need to know about Shenmue without overdoing it.
If Sega actually cared and listened to the fans, they would have done this a long time ago.
This is taken from a secret website for Virtua Fighter Crossroads and what an interesting read this is and it's great world-building
The Shenmue anime adaptation of the original games from the late 90s and mid-2000s is really underrated not just as a great video game adaptation, but just an underrated anime in general.
Shenmue could really benefit from this new IP360 initiative that's helping to fund Virtua Fighter Crossroads
The recent news of Virtua Fighter Crossroads getting government funding from the Japanese government involving what's called the IP360 initiative has me thinking: what if Shenmue got that same level of funding and money put into it from that same initiative, but it was enough to basically not only fund Shenmue IV but give us Shenmue V as well. And with RGG and Yu Suzuki at the helm, this would finally give the Shenmue community the victory that we've been waiting for when it comes to Shenmue.
The article detailing the info surrounding the government funding of Virtua Fighter Crossroads and the IP360 initiative is down below with the link. Read more if you're interested.

This might be the same character in these images
The old man seen in the Project Berkley trailer in a snowy region of China doing a palm thrust with his hands is most likely the same guy in Shenmue Chapter Card 6 guiding Ryo into a horse stance position.
His name might be Zhou Sihai according to the artwork releases shown by Shenmue Dojo earlier in the year.
The Shenmue allegations are so strong with the new Virtua Fighter Crossroads trailer and there's no denying it now.
The new Virtua Fighter Crossroads trailer revealing one of the new antagonists of the Bakunawa Killer is literally moving and acting exactly like Lan Di, even down to the hand motions, arms behind his back, the way that he's carrying himself, the fast precision of his moves is clearly the Tiger Swallow Style.
Sega is just teasing the Shenmue fans at this point.
The GTA VI controversy with the pricing and how people are blindly supporting something that barely even has gameplay shown yet, Shenmue3Enhanced is looking like the more reasonable deal
Shenmue3Enhanced literally got called out by people when they announced the price for both the Collector's and Special Editions and that it was too much of an ask to spend a thousand dollars on it, but GTA VI pricing it's Ultimate Edition around $100 with barely any gameplay already has people pulling out their wallets and ready to spend their life savings on it.
You can say what you want about Shenmue3Enhanced taking too long to come out or whatever, but at least we got a trailer with gameplay and what's going to be in there and we knew what was going to be in it. GTA VI barely has any gameplay and was delayed several times (kinda like Shenmue 3 was) but at least with Shenmue 3, there were many interviews with Yu Suzuki saying what the gameplay was, we saw trailers after trailers after trailers, and there was even a demo released, Rockstar has kept delaying GTA VI multiple times, and when they released their pre-order trailer for it, people willingly just jumped off of their chairs to go buy it immediately with no ounce of gameplay.
I'm not hating on GTA VI and I really do hope people enjoy it, but it's just interesting to see the mentality when it comes to Shenmue3Enhanced vs GTA VI.
