No jail time for Indigenous woman in fatal drunk driving crash | National Post
nationalpost.comEufyCam over wifi
My system is quite simple, just three Eufy S3 Pro cameras and one S380 HomeBase. The homebase is located in the basement, and the cameras are outside. The homebase is connected by Ethernet to the network, and there are 3 interior access points (one on each floor) also connected by Ethernet. The S3 cameras connect to a dedicated wifi network via the AP's, and further to the homebase by Ethernet.
Sorry for the long description, but it's a big part of my question. The symptom that I get is that the events that are recorded are always a bit late. People, animals, vehicles, etc. are all recorded as they are leaving the frame. Not the beginning of the frame. Not the middle. It catches them just as they're about to leave the frame, if at all. It's like there's a delay between when it detects motion, and when it starts recording.
Am I just experiencing poor network connectivity? Do the cameras try to make a connection to the homebase, before recording starts?
