Another day in the life of a 22hcp golfer!

Step 1: double the 1st and assume this round will be like every other.

Step 2: play the next 4 holes like the best golf you've ever played and convince yourself you are on your way to an absolute dream PB

Step 3: proceed to screw it all up and shoot +12 through 4 holes.

Step 4: give up after 9 holes

Lloyds Smart Start account - has anyone been through the process of it upgrading to a standard account?

My daughter has just turned 18 (last Tuesday), and her smart start account should be upgrading to a standard account.
Last week, she tried to buy something online & it declined. We went in to the branch on Saturday and they could see the declined transaction & said there was no reason for the decline, but they think it's just the account going through the transition period. They said that once I can't see the accounts in my app anymore, then it should all be transferred over.
Today, all of the money form her account & savings is gone, but the accounts are still visable.

Just hoping to find others who have gone through the transition process & can validate if this is all 'normal'?

Thanks!

Visitor Golf Recommendations - Manchester/Knutsford region

I'm travelling up the M6 to Manchester Airport on Friday morning for a 10am meeting. Are there any recommendations for local clubs in the Manchester/Knutsford (or further away on the M6 route from B'ham) that would have Friday morning availability for early visitor tee times?

Guys and girls - get lessons!

Look - im not saying you shouldn't buy yourself a new set of irons to fix your issues....all I'm saying is £55 for an hour with our club pro has done more for my swing than any equipment I could purchase.

Looking forward to shooting 100+ tomorrow morning!

Train Options

I'm already planning ahead to 2027, and for the 1st time ever we're considering getting the train.
We normally drive & get a parking pass, but after the s@*t show of parking at South this year I can't do that again.
I've pre-booked a hotel in Welwyn Garden City - can anyone with experience tell me how late the trains run for the Northern line from Hatfield after the festival?
