Feature request: Show unread/mark all as read options in adventure mode

I have a badge on Adventures but I can’t figure out what it is related to, I have done the themed puzzles afaik, but the badge does not clear.

Can we have either a way to see what posts are causing the badges or can we clear the unread posts. I use the badges to see when a new theme puzzle pack is released

Feature request: Next puzzle button when completing a paused puzzle

When you go back to a puzzle and complete it, the only option is to go back into the main menu, could we add a button that puts you into the next puzzle in the difficulty that you just completed? Just a QoL thing

Running an android app in a docker container

So my local council has a mobile app for their bin collection, eg which weeks are green waste and which are recycling. It also has a messaging portion that they (I assume anyway, it’s only new) would be for things like service disruption or annual services etc. It has push notifications for these messages, but I personally dislike almost all app notifications as a general rule.

What I was thinking is, could you emulate android in a container, install the app and maybe get the push notifications to discord or a management screen? I tried to find info on if there was a public api or something you could attach to a web app or something but couldn’t come up with much, but I also have no idea what I’m doing so it could be bad web searching.

I understand that it could depend on the app, or I would need to route the push notifications through some other services to get it to discord or a management screen, but it kinda sounded like an interesting idea to me so I thought I would ask.

EDIT: I am in Australia (I had been awake for about 48hrs when I wrote this, missed this important info)

Recently migrated, a few how to questions

Recently moved to Nobara Official (i believe it is modified KDE), its all running great, no complaints about performance, ease of setup etc, just a few how to questions. These are all things i know how to do on Windows, but seem unclear on Linux.

I figured out how to get the taskbar (unsure if its called that on linux, the bar at the bottom where the open apps show and the clock is) on both monitors, but can i have it so it only shows icons for the apps open on that specific monitor?

Can the icons next to the clock be collapsed, it feels like they take up 1/4 of the taskbar?

It seems that i can only pin certain things to the taskbar, i have a app i used regularly on windows, it has a linux version, it runs perfectly, but i cant pin it to the taskbar, the file is an executable, but maybe its because its not an "application". Also it has a icon.png file in the same folder, but i cannot get the icon to display, so i get a generic grey document with an ! in the middle in the folder, and on the taskbar it is the wayland icon.

Final questions, more of a request for suggestions. What basic apps should i consider replacing, i dont think i like dolphin (i cant quite figure out why), i have used alacritty before in the terminal, but konsole seems fine, so hit me with any suggestions for different basic apps

P1S exhaust\filter questions

I am trying to get some sort of air filtration for my p1s, i only plan on doing pla and petg really, but i have ordered a air purifier, but i was looking around and i have discovered poor mans voc filters. I ordered a Levoit Core 300s, and i found a model on makerworld (im not sure if i am allowed to post a link, please let me know if i can), but it does not show the hose size it uses, only that it was designed to work with another makers system. So i go over to that page and it seems to all be for a H1 printer, and it is also still not say what size hose, and also i dont know if the printer end will fit my printer at all.

So i have 2 questions, is it normal to just not include the hose sizing or have i happened to find the 2 who dont, and also can anyone point me in the direction of a good model\\s for attaching to the printer, and then fitting around the purifier? while i would like to model it all myself, i dont have the filament budget for lots and lots of prototypes not the patience to fail over and over, so i generally prefer to find someone who has that passion already and use their model.

I hope i have used the correct flair as well, i was not sure

What is the best way to stay up to date on products?

Just wondering if there is a mailing list or something that I can sign up to for product release updates. I am very interested in the new fusion gateways but they all show “coming soon”. I don’t really want to be checking the website all the time so I’m hoping there is some way to be notified?

Probably a dumb question about switches

If I was to run a flex mini off a gigabit Poe port on my main switch, the things connected to the flex mini won’t get full gigabit speeds just due to network overhead, but is there any smarts that will give priority to different devices depending on what they are doing?

Are containers useless for privacy now?

Probably a dumb question, but are containers strictly to block tracking when you move between sites unnecessary since total cookie protection?

I don’t use containers (because I forgot they existed) but I was watching a video about browsers and the automated containers in Firefox seemed interesting. I know containers exist in librewolf but they aren’t automated and as far as I can tell never will be.

I use librewolf as my daily driver and I love it, and I try to be private as much as possible without making my life too difficult (I have unchecked the clear history on browser close box for example) but if using containers would make it more private I would be interested.

Follow up, if they are still useful is it worth bothering on sites I already have open or just from now on?

How easy to move from unifi to omada

I am currently in the beginning of my homelab\home network build. I currently have a super basic unifi setup (pretty much only went unifi because i managed to salvage some gear from a work aquisition), but i have not really lookeda at alternatives until basically this week.

My current setup is a unifi express, 24 port gb poe switch and 1 single unifi ap (the switch and ap were the salvaged equipment). My house is wired for ethernet in basically all rooms (12 ports) and they all run back to where i have a small network rack with the gear and my server. I am planning on going to POE cameras as the next expansion so i wanted to take a look around before i fully locked myself into the unifi ecosystem

I got interested in the fusion router (i live in Australia so apparently i can get one now) because i like the idea of an all in one solution, but i find the omada website to be not intuitive, especially in the way that ubiquiti is, so i have some questions.

Is there a limit on what devices can be used on the omada system, specifically cameras and nvr. I know tplink make cameras and nvr, but are the integrated in any way with the networking the same as unifi? I understand the fusion pro (release date tbd i guess) has built in storage for nvr, so is the functionality coming or does it already exist?

What i can use from my current system and what would i need to maintain my current level of network? I would like anything i get to be rack mountable, and i would need another ap to replace the unifi express as it is my wifi ap for the back half of my house. I also need to be able to put out a 2.4ghz only wifi ssid. I dont need a 24 port switch but i would probably want at least 16 ports, preferably at multi gig speeds, with a few poe ports for the ap's

Sorry for the wall of text, i am just struggling to find any info online, it all seems to be from years ago. Omada appears to be a decent unifi competitor but they just dont seem to have the presence online to really push that

Probably does not exist but figured i would ask

Is there a system where i could plug my devices outputs into a "reverse dock" kinda thing, send that data down a thunderbolt cable to another dock?

To explain, my pc does not have thunderbolt onboard, and from what i understand i cant add thunderbolt to it natively, ie i cant put a thunderbolt adapter in. So i was thinking, i wonder if there is a way to put all the outputs into a thunderbolt signal, send it over a cable to a thunderbolt dock to then plug in the peripherals.

The reason is i am toying with the idea of having my desktop rack mounted elsewhere in the house and i would run thunderbolt from it through the walls to where my monitor etc is. I know that upgrading my pc to support thunderbolt natively would be the best, but im just trying to see if i can get around this in some way.

Like i said in the title, probably doesnt exist, but you never know

1U to 2U PSU bracket

Im looking to swap my current nas into a rackmount system, either 2 or 3U. My current NAS is one of the cube ones and it as a 1U PSU. I have seen adapters around for making the psu fit into the 2u space, but is there a good 3d printable one anywhere? im not good at modelling so i would prefer a premade model, but every time i search for them the results tend to be flex to 2u or mounting an atx psu to a rack in a 2u format.

Does anyone have a good model they could reccomend?
