My Aunt started shopping last week for a smaller EV to replace her Rav4 Prime and I'm helping her out since I'm her primary caregiver. The EV3 is the top of the list because of the smaller size, but other options so far are the Toyota C-HR, Subaru Uncharted and Chevy Bolt.

I have an Ioniq 5 N myself and I've really enjoyed it, so I'm very interested in getting her to test drive an EV3 before deciding. Any word from anyone on when the cars will actually hit lots? Production started last week for the US models, and the configurator is up, so I'm hoping within a month or is that too hopeful?

Video and some notes from the first track day with the RS3 at Laguna Seca yesterday!  Managed to get the 5th session all to myself after letting a couple fast cars pass in the first lap, absolute PURE BLISS! :D

RS3 Track notes:

• Stock Bridgestone Sports leave a lot to be desired for grip, but are not the worst tires.
• Carbon Ceramic brake option holds up extremely well.
• Engine doesn't feel like 400hp, feels more like 300hp, can't keep up with the fast stuff.
• Suspension is pretty good, but does pogo a little on corner 4.
• Car does have difficulty rotating without Torque Rear mode on, Torque rear is the fastest mode for sure since you can rotate the car out of some corners to make longer straights.
• Doesn't rotate that well without torque rear mode, but doesn't feel heavy at all.
• Transmission had hickups coming out of the corkscrew, won't upshift for some reason.
• No issues with heat management, the RS management view never showed anything get into the red.
• The non-Alcantra steering wheel is too stiff, my hands hurt at the end of the day, also the seat doesn't have enough bolstering.

*Mods needed:  Stickier tires, More front camber, and rear swaybar maybe?  Or get a different car next year, not sure.
