Im hoping to go to Portugal in September and I thought I would start learning a bit of Portuguese now. I have a subscroption to Babbel but I dont really like it so I tend to use google translate to learn phrases I know from past travels I am likely to use.

For example, when shopping, I like to know how to ask "Can I have a bag please?".

So I was messing around with google translate and I noticed this. If I type in:

"Can I have a bag please?" it translates as "Poderia me trazer uma sacola, por favor?Poderia me trazer uma sacola, por favor?"

but if I type in

"Can I have a bag please" it translates as "Poderia me dar uma sacola, por favor?Poderia me dar uma sacola, por favor?"

Can you see the difference? The only difference in what I typed in to google as a ? after please, but it totally changes the response.

Why is this? What is the difference between "trazor" and "dar" ?

Great, and it gets worse... If I type in "Could I have a" it translates as "eu poderia ter um" but as soon as I add the word "bag" the first part changes completely to "Poderia me dar um"

How many people are using or have used 3d printed stocks for their rifles and pistols? were they any good, did you see a drop off in performance?

I saw one advertised that would fit my AA S400 and would give it more of a target shooting style with adjustable cheek and stock pieces etc.

I recently switched my internet service provider to Sky and im having real problems downloading from some sites via BiglyBT where I never had a problem before. It will list the files as downlaoding but they just sit there with no downloads happening.

I'm looking at the possibility of buying a place in Nottingham, ideally close to the center, but i'd like to know what areas I should avoid as I plan for this to be a long term move, possibly rest of life move.

My dad owns a 50% share of a house with his ex partner who moved out several years ago.
She doesnt pay any maintenance on the property, that is fully covered by my dad.
My dad does rent out one of the bedrooms, either on a AirB&B basis or currently as a lodger and he retains all of that income.

The plan for both my dad and his ex partner is that if one died the property would be sold with a 50% split of the money going to the surviving owner and 50% to the children of the person who died. In mt dads case thats now just me, in her case its two kids.

She has recently contacted him saying she wants a share of the income from the lodger/AirB&B custom and/or she will put the house in to a trust and this will force my dad to habd over a larger share of the house to her when the house is sold.

He doesnt want to give over any income because he is having to cover all the maintenance costs of the building. If he sells the house now he isnt likely to get enough in a 50/50 split to be able to buy a decent property for himself. At least not in the southern half of the country.

What is the legal situation here and what can my dad do to protect himself?

I have a Gamo Compact that isnt working properly. I think a seal has probably gone on it.
Aew there any good manuals or videos on how to check and change these myself about and do people know if you need any specialist tools? DOnt have the option of taking it to a shop at the moment.
