M50 lease ends in a year not a fan of the new i3

Thinking to trade in early and get M60, but they are scarce. I’m afraid I won’t be able to find one next year and I think that the i3 is kinda meh. My sale manager friend told me that there are something like 300 i4 leases ending in the next 12 months here, with limited new EV sedan inventory. Of course, they are not all looking for the M, but, still.

There are only 3 M60s in all of DFW at the moment. So, I’m thinking of taking a bit of a hit on my lease and getting the M60 now. Because I lose $3600 turning my M50 in early, it adds $98/month to my lease payment. But it guarantees me an i4 through 2029.

Alternately, I keep mine and take my chances next year. I just don’t want to get caught in the gap with my lease ending and nothing but that i3 available.

Considered buying mine at end of lease, but interest rates on a 2024 make payments a killer. Also, not sure about how long/how many miles these will hold value.

Thoughts? Of course, I have to decide by tomorrow…

What next?

Hi, All!

Got these four guys a couple of months ago and they have been doing pretty well since I repotted them from the little coco coir pots they came in. They were not well-rooted, but they seem to be doing okay. Can I get your thoughts on next steps?

Plant 1 (second photo) has an inflo, but not sure if it bloomed while I was gone last week.
Any chance I have flowers coming?
Plant 2 (third photo) has some spotting on leaves. Should I be concerned? If so, what should I do?

Plant 3 (fourth photo) has a bit of leaf deformity and the base of the leaves seem to be an odd yellow color. Thoughts?

Plant 4 (fifth photo) bloomed and has dropped its inflo. What do I do next? Any chance of flowering again?

What should I expect, in terms of lifecycle and care over the summer? I am in North Texas (Frisco).

Thanks! Discussion about HEB plumerias

What is going on? Looks like M60 replacing M50 and MSRP is 10k more with no inventory. Suggestions?!?

Tomato update

The sweet 100s are growing like crazy and producing a lot of fruit! Lesson learned - they need a lot more trellising/tomato caging than I had out. I can’t seem to get rid of the yellowing/browning leaves. They still produce, but I am afraid I am stripping too many of the leaves off. Thoughts?

At TJs again - which to get?

At $20 apiece, I’m thinking #1 and #3. Next her 1 is so unique. Number 3 smells great. I think #2 is a dendrobium, which I got last time. Not sure what #4 is.

Help with aggression toward other dogs

We rescued our beautiful and sweet Noelle (Ellie) about 8 months ago. She was dumped by her previous owners in a neighborhood where my husband works. She was chipped, so we tried to contact the owner. After waiting 10 days, she went to SPCA, and we ended up fostering and then adopting her. Based on research we did, and finding a post where the previous owner tried to rehome her, we believe she is about five years old. She was not spayed and the vet at SPCA said she had puppies not too long ago. She was spayed before the adoption was final.

She is the kindest, sweetest, and most loving dog! However, she is horribly aggressive toward other dogs. We have worked extensively with her and she is very well behaved - very obedient (especially for a Mal) - and will be a terrible guard dog because she loves everybody who walks through the door. Except dogs.

We found this out when we tried to introduce her to our neighbors’ dog (Abby) a few months ago. Ellie jumped on her and Abby immediately submitted. Ellie didn’t back off.

So, we have been working on training the reactivity out of her. We have been extensive experience because we used to work with a service dog organization as puppy raisers. They had very strict training protocols to ensure the dogs were given the proper foundation to be service dogs. On leash, she is much better.

We tried socializing at doggy daycare. She was okay when she was in the room with a Doberman who was chilled out on a bed, but the minute a golden retriever came in with happy energy, she cornered him and the trainer had to separate her from the group. So, no group play.

Then yesterday, she broke through our 6 foot fence and attacked another dog (a female lab mix) that was in the alley behind the house. She tore a hole in the side of the dog. We were there within seconds because we were in the garage that leads to the alleyway. We found the other dog’s owner holding both dogs by their collars to separate them. The other dog was barking and squealing - but not backing down. We believe that the other dog might have been off leash and potentially provoked Ellie to break through the pickets on the fence.

We spent the rest of the day replacing the fence.

I think that she might have killed that dog if the owner had not grabbed her by the collar. It is very confusing because she is so obedient and such a kind, loving, sweet dog toward everything and everyone except for other dogs. It makes me sad that she can’t have a friend. Are there any suggestions out there? Is this normal?
